Aaand now I have to rethink things as Zeus apparently made Interseptor a car designed to destroy all other D class cars.

d@mn douchebag munchkin mobile. We'll just have to latch on a couple of us slower cars to even out the playing field.

On a side note I've got a couple cars I would have considered good before douchebagerseptor made his car.
The Aygo and the RS1800 both post very respectable times.

Oooh, if the Aygo is competitive that'll be awesome.

Posted several top 1000 times with it, I think it could break 1:10 on mugello club if you build it/drive it just right.

Well, my E-class was grippy as hell, so I think I could put all 75 extra PI into acceleration/speed and find the few extra seconds to break 1:10. Might try and hop on tomorrow and have a little play around.

Yeah I built an Aygo too and it's a pretty solid car for me and it's currently my front runner to be my main car. Still trying to put together a speedier car for tracks with less curves.

That Aygo, she's a dirty, dirty whore and she loves us all long time. And Atrum's right, where are your Aygo times or is yours too secret to share until the tourney?

I raced it last class. Only done the benchmark runs so far on C class. I rarely hotlap an unfinished tune. It's counter-productive.

Re: S7R Forza 4 D-Class Tourney - Season 1
I've been doing things the exact opposite way because I feel that if I can get a solid time w/o the final tune I'll only do better once it's properly tuned. If my times are poor and I scrap the car then I haven't wasted too much time on the car, six to one half a dozen to another.

I wouldn't say that was backwards, it how I find my cars when I have a few to run through - It's just having used the Aygo last class, I already know it fairly well, so I can skip that bit. I imagine I'll need a 'high speed' car too, just in case Sunset or Nurbugring Nordscheife come up.

Most likely what I'll be racing: Lancia Stratos
And yes I actually had to create a paint scheme for this one.

And here is my baby...
The 1957 Ferrari 250 California...
I tried to paint her but it seemed like a crime to cover up such beauty. I had a pretty nice classic paint job on her too but at the end of the day, she just looked better in her original state.

LOL! I actually played around with a design that involved a lot of Ferrari logos just to be an ass but it looked like sh1t. I might put a number on it for tonight but I really like it just clean.
I really can't wait for tonight. This is going to be a blast. And don't worry Epic, that Ferrari is a beast. Definitely excited to put it up against what you guys are bringing. Any more pics out there? What are you guys racing?

Re: S7R Forza 4 D-Class Tourney - Season 1
Still not sure tbh. Probably NOT the Aygo, I don't like it as much at D-class. I have an MR-2 ready, an Acura TSX, a 65' GTO.
I'll be running the MR-2 on short courses, need to check how competitive it is on longer tracks though. Also got an RX-7 which is pretty good all-round, so I'll be running a lot of hot laps later. No paint job yet either - so it'll probably something simple tonight.

'65 GTO huh? That's not like you Epic. You are usually the super grippy car guy.

It's pretty much JUST for sunset, even that, I'm rethinking. I got a 1:53.4 dirty, but that's still 2 seconds off your Cali and I can't do it consistently. The good news is that the MR-S (not MR-2 as I put earlier) seems pretty decent on most tracks - it got a 1:55's consistently on Sunset Full, which is dominated by 'fast' cars, but yeah, in regards to having a 'fast' car, I've still got some work to do. In Forza 3 I'd happily run my grip car and still be able to take a 3rd/4th quite happily but with ~14 racers on track, a lot of which are similarly skilled (or more-so), so it's not an option anymore really.

Yeah, I kind of figured it was my fault due to the times I was putting up with that Cali. I have gotten pretty good at hot-lapping but it's going to be interesting to see how it stacks up to a full room. It is obviously a top end type of car but either way it's going to be a ton of fun to drive (just like Sticky's mom, Sick Burn!).
