S7 Forza 3 S-Class Tourney - Season 2

Season 2 NEWS:

Well, this is it! We have reached the end of the our journey and it all comes down to this. The S-Class Tourney is here and with it comes the end of season. It's all or nothing as we head into the final race of the season. And despite my best efforts, things are as close as ever. I was really hoping to shut the door on Glock but unfortunately came right back taking 1st place in the A-Class Tourney and now all that separates us going into the final race is 1 point. Yes 1 Point! Needless to say, who ever wins the S-Class Tourney will also win the Season 2 Championship. Never has there been more on the line.

And it doesn't stop there. While Wiggles has all but secured a dominant 3rd place finish there is a lot at stake just below as Epic, Atrum and Sticky continue to fight a very close race. Atrum had a solid showing last night and finished 4th overall helping close the gap on Epic and surpassed Sticky who had to drop out for undisclosed reasons. But as it sits there are still only 3 points separating these racers. It is literally anyone's game and we head into the final event. It really doesn't get any better than this.

And as we continue done the line, it looks as if OC and sealed the deal and locked out Kenny and Chippy from challenging his position this season. Chippy had a good, if uneven showing and actually finished 3rd place at the legendary Fujimi Kaido. Unfortunately, he also had some difficult races causing a few "accidents" along the way. Kenny, on the other hand, was unfortunately not able to qualify for last nights race which cost him serious points but is still within 2 points of Chippy. So once again it's a close race and either could easily finish on top. All in all they have both really progressed and are making improvements all the time. I think that next season they will be a serious threat.

Everybody has to be on their best game as we head into the final event. As I said earlier, it all or nothing. There is no tomorrow and this is the last chance to take the gold. Better bring it. Good luck everyone.

Up Next? S-Class.

Drivers will have just under 2 weeks to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win. It is also worth note that we might have to Qualify again depending on the turnout so be prepared. Don't be late or you may miss out.

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday, February 3, 2011
Time: Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary)
Car Class: S-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - TBA
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the S-Class Champion for Season 2. This is the final event for the season.

Oh I'm excited! I've been waiting for s-class all season. I've always felt it rewards faster reflexes a bit more which I rely on pretty heavily in my gaming haha.

You could probably finish in a decent position using a veyron on that full Le Mans circuit.

and maybe a Class S DMC... we'll see

It's so much fun in S Class... set it up right and you go like 0-60 in like 1.1 seconds...

The Tie Fighter is sick interseptor! I've got a dark horse of my own I'm scheming up. Very hush hush though.

This might be my car for the S-Class It Handles better so i cant crash as much..Hope it does good!!! Its hard finding a good car when u don't know anything about them..lol (P.S. I did my own paint Job on this one)

Nice Chippy! At least we'll see you coming this time, LOL! Just kidding. Keep it up. You'll be a pro in no time. Just be sure to race it a lot on all the tracks. Get used to driving it and you'll be in really good shape. Remember, it's less about the car and more about knowing the tracks.

I guess I should stop playing GT5 so much and start testing out some cars...

Just a heads up... i might not be here for this... (if i'm not don't worry about it, being I'm 3rd... period...)

KP might be around so we're gonna get some people and go bowl/drink... so we'll say 50/50 at this point...

odds are very much better for me being here tonight now... 80/20 we'll say... KP, another high school buddy, and I are going bowling and stuff during the day now... so i SHOULD be there... will have been awake about 28 hours but meh... I'll still drive better than Chippy

I wish I had more time. I mad a Porsche Carrera GT last night that is pretty sweet but now I can't decide which car to use. This is the most unprepared I have ever been for a Tourney yet.

I dropped 1.2 million on a Nissan r390 that I tuned for S-class, then found out I have 2 other tunes that are faster than it lol

I'm split between using my Muira or my Nissan Mine's
