I never expected an anime with an innocent child as the main protagonist to have people losing their heads, limbs, or just chunks of their bodies in general. That was a bit surprising. There's been many times where I wasn't mentally prepared and I would sit there with my mouth dropped thinking 'Did that really just happen? wtf!?". lol

Watched Attack on Titan over the weekend. Awesome anime. I was a bit perturbed for the first six episodes, but then it started to catch my interest and I also started to get used to titans eating humans. They still freak me out though, especially the aberrants.

Yeah, I don't know. I think I'm too spoiled by visual effects and awesome soundtracks. I've thought about reading mangas, but just couldn't get into it.

Ended up watching Attack on Titan again over the weekend with my brother. I'm certain that it's my new favorite anime. Think I'm going to take another break from starting up any new anime though. I think if when I start up another anime, I'd rather it be one that has ended. Don't like keeping up with multiple animes at a time.

I have finished dragon ball z seires and have moved on to Gt. I have never watched any gt so it has been cool to watch new to me content. I'm on the baby saga now. I think when I finish this I will go back and watch the origami dragon ball seires and the db movies.

i didn't care for the dragon ball series, just not as intense battles, but the movies are pretty cool! i can't wait to see the battle of the gods dubbed, it was great even if i did have to read for the time being.

I like Dragon Ball Z overall, I just don't like how it became 'If you're not a Super Saiyan, then why are you here?' kind of thing. The characters that were built up in Dragon Ball (pre-DBZ) became completely irrelevant. GT was alright, but I disliked it overall mainly because it's non-canon.

Isn't that part of what makes DBZ so epic? Most shows have a 'fall' where the main characters hit a ceiling or get to the top level (or close). DBZ, it's like SS2? HOW ABOUT SS4?!?!?!

Finished watching Sword Art Online. Not sure what to think of it. Liked the concept of the first arc, but the second arc was a bit perverted. I wouldn't list it as one of my favorite animes, but I also wouldn't put it at the bottom.

SAO season 1 is amazing. Season 2 is pretty weak IMO. Still love the anime overall.

I tell myself I'm going to take a break from anime, but I just keep going. I'll usually bring up an anime I haven't watched yet on my computer while I eat dinner, and then I end up watching it to the end. So I finished up Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Been wanting to watch Cowboy Bebop, which is one of few animes I prefer english voices, but I can't find anyplace to watch it.

Isn't it on netflix? And really, just google Cowboy Bebop episode 1, never had trouble finding an ep that way.

Also, if you aren't caught up on Naruto - you should be.

I've been keeping up with Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, and One Piece so far. Naruto has been providing the most entertainment. One Piece episodes are starting to drag on a little too much. And I'm getting really really tired of the narration in Hunter X Hunter where five seconds of anime time takes place over 20 minutes of the episode, I just want to see a fight already.

I did google for Cowboy Bebop episode 1, but the quality of the video on many of the sites I saw were absolute sh1t. There was a site I used to watch some episodes of Cowboy Bebop awhile back that was great quality, but I can't find that site anymore.

Ran out of anime to watch that I haven't seen yet and wanted to see. So I decided to pop in my DBZ Orange Bricks. Currently in the middle of the Frieza saga. Also noticed that Funimation is releasing yet another set of DBZ, which is in blu-ray and removes the 'grainy' colors and makes everything look more smooth. It also looks like it does a better job at cropping. DBZ sure gets milked a lot, but since these new blu-rays are really affordable, I might get the whole set when they're all released.

My consistent weekly shows: Kuroko's Basketball, Hunter X Hunter, Ace of Diamond, Yowapeda, Naruto Shippuden, Log Horizon, Magi, and generally One Piece.

A lot of these are hitting their season finales though, sad panda.

It's pretty good. It's definitely been on of the ones I'm excited to watch every week. Moderately slow paced though.
