It has been a few weeks but the A-Class Tourney was an absolute blast! Only 9 members showed up but the racing was as competitive as ever. I miss the early turnouts when we had 12+ racers but but the racing is much closer this way so it all works out in the end. At any rate, 9 of us showed up and went all out. Apex once again had a solid showing with 5 total podiums and Coolhand had an impressive 2. We had some solid driving all around and a few bad wrecks too. You have to stay on your toes in these higher classes. Wiggles and myself battled for the lead all night but I was able to hold him off and take the overall win. This is what it looked like when the dust settled...

Now, its on to the S7R Forza 4 S-Class Tourney - Season 1. It's time to get to work and start building/tuning your S-Class Cars. You have one week to finalize things and get ready (this post is a little late but we have had 4 weeks to prepare so everyone should be ready lol). S-Class cars are extremely fast and the difficulty level really shoots up here. Be sure to get in there and really work on these before the race. It's gonna be crazy out there. Victory favors the prepared. Good Luck!

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday, June 7, 2012
Time: Racing starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time
Car Class: S-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Always On
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - Player based
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length, races to last roughly 10 minutes each)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the S-Class Champion for Season 1. Your overall placement will go towards your season standing and results will be added to the Official S7 Forza Stats Thread. Forza: All Time Stats

Excellent. I have the night off and Friday too, so I can tinker with the R class and screw around afterwards if anyone else stays on. Should be a good time!

hmmm... havent played Forza since last tourney... i guess i should prolly get on with making a car already

I'm going to try to make this one. It's been awhile since I played with you guys but I've been obsessed with this game lately

BUMP! S-Class Tourney is tonight! Be there. I have this feeling that it's going to be a small turnout for some reason. I hope not but if at least 6+ people show up we will probably race so don't miss out.

I'll try to make it. I don't what was up last night, but I couldn't get on to Xbox Live at all no matter what I tried. Just so you know... faster cars = better chance of Xpert screwing up at turns. lol

Like I said, I have cars ready but I might be late or miss the tourney depending upon when my family calls. If possible, though, I have some cars ready and I plan on trying to make the whole thing or at least some of the races. Worst case scenario I'll be on afterwards to work on the next class cars.

I kept trying stuff for a good 20 minutes so I could connect, but I couldn't get anything to work. At least I get a point. oooone dollar

Sad Panda. Was busy with the baby. I'll schedule it with the wife as soon as we get a for sure date on the next one so I will 100% be there.

Didn't get off the phone with my parents until around 10pm and I wasn't on my box until like 10 after so I figured it wasn't worth trying to get into the game since I might have only gotten on for one race. Too bad cuz I was really looking forward to racing. Guess I'll just have to bring my A game in the next tourney. What is the next one?

Might have to take a day off for the next one, prevent OC from passing me...

You have to take a normal road car and make it R3 yourself. The Farrari FXX h also been placed on the ban list due to the fact it is not a "road car". If you have a question whether or not a car is eligible be sure to ask so we can make a ruling.

The time is yet to be determined. Apex has a conflict with our normal 2 week time slot due to being out of town (June 21). And I have a problem with two weeks after that for the same reason (July 5) so I don't know what we are going to do. We will have to work something out. Stay tuned.

So that's what they call imitation Ferrari's....lol

Well, it's not a numbered race car but it is a purpose built race car that you can only drive on the track. That basically made it off limits for this competition. However, it is a bass car and a true Farrari. Just too bad ass for this competition.

July 5 is out for me too. The wife and I will be in Auburn Hills/Detroit to see Aerosmith in concert. I would really like to be able to participate in this one, since it's the season finale for Season 1, so I hope we can toss around dates until we get one that works for most people.

I vote the standard 2 weeks as much i was would like interseptor not there for the tourney... APex is locked into 3rd no matter what.... which would still suck to not have him there.... but at least it wouldnt effect the overall results

Talked to Apex and I was mistaken on the dates. Looks like he can make it on June 21st also so I would say we are a go. I'll try to post something up soon.
