Apex R3 Open Track Night - June 20th

Yeah... from the looks of the forum, it didn't look like many people were going to attend. At least I didn't miss anything.

Yeah, I ended up not getting online either. We'll be sure to hit it up next week.

I actually got out of work early and when I got home there was nobody playing so I pretty much figured I had missed it.

I was on but no one was racing. Maybe next time. Maybe tonight even.

I'll be there but I really want to drive some Porsches. I DL'd the pack yesterday but spent the night playing GR. Maybe we could try and do some stock Porsche races too?

I'm the same way with Diablo 3 right now. And since I still never got the chance to play Ghost Recon yesterday, Forza is a bit further back in line compared to other games I'd like to play.

Its all good. I signed up to be an active FM4 participant this month, so I'll make sure the Wednesday room is up (sans:life). Depending on the turnout of peeps with the latest DLC, I might get to make it a stock Porsche night. Hopefully I'll see some of you all tonight.

I was on last night and it didn't appear as though anyone else was on. I'm guessing it was because of GR, but I was wondering if anyone might possibly be on tonight to tune some S class cars. I'm working on trying to fix the braking on this beast RS 6 I made but I'm really clueless when it comes to adjusting the braking on a car. I'm not definitely going to be on, but if I am I would like to try doing some wrenchwork with some help.

I'd be happy to sit down and talk to you. Apex is probably one of the best "true" tuners we have in the clan (i.e. members who don't use a tuning calculator) but I am getting better at it every day. I have not used a tuning calculator since Forza 4 came out and I am finally getting the hang of it. Anyway, the point is that I would be happy to help (I am sure Apex would too). I should be finishing up GR co-op tonight but hit me up and I'll see if I can break loose.

I probably won't be on until like 9:30pm EST since a friend of mine wants to go and play some twilight golf tonight. We'll see how many holes we get in before heading home but most likely I'll jump on after then for a bit. Kinda playing it by ear right now.

I'll probably be deep into GR by then but I'll be around all weekend. Just hit me up bro.

I might play a little, we'll see. I might also miss part of the tourney tomorrow since my fam is going to call to wish my wife a happy birthday and it probably won't be until about 8 EST (aka Tourney Time). I'll try to get on after that but we'll have to see how things pan out tomorrow.

How late do you guys stay on for? I'm at the gym from 8-10 CST, but will be on right afterward if anyone else would still be on.

We are usually one for exactly 2 hours with a short break at the hour. We are usually on afterwards too but the public room is usually shut down at 10pm CST.

I know I say this all the time but I really need to try and get into the room for this week and probably next week since I have so little experience with R3. I fiddled around with a couple builds today and put like $150k into upgrades on cars I had (for the Bugatti and Lambo, Audi was mostly free b/c of my affinity), but I'm still trying to figure out a car that I like. I really need to find something that's somewhat fast but forgiving of my driving skills because I'd hate to make a mistake and screw up the tourney for one or more other drivers.

Join us tomorrow Puppet. Test out those builds and get some practice too.

That's kinda what I'd like to do. I'm off Thursday so it would be a good night to tweak and tune but we'll have to see what the wife is up to.
