June Throwback Night- Fri. June 1st

The first Friday of every month is Throwback night, which gives us a chance to get together and play some of our old favorites. Last months turnout of COD4 was good, and I think everyone had a great time. Seeing as COD4 was the game for last month, it will not appear on this months poll but will return for the next one. Vote for you favorite and make plans to show up. The poll is only open for 2 weeks- this way there will be time for people to rent/purchase the game if they do not have it but want to participate.

Also, feel free to comment with any games you want to see added to this poll or future ones.

Looks like some people wanted to start up a GRAW 2 throwback night before the release of Future Soldier too. Almost seems like this should be a weekly thing lol.

The throwback night will be after GR:FS rolls out so I'm not sure how much interest there will be for GRAW/GRAW 2 on June 1st.

If you look at the Ghost Recon discussion, OC suggested a throwback night for GRAW2 before the release of future soldier. I'd go to that because I'm pretty sure I'd rather play Future Soldier more than Andvanced Warfighter 2 at the beginning of next month.

Well, the Throwback night is an ongoing thing. If people wanted to play GRAW before Future Solider came out then they should have voted that way. (I personally did vote for GRAW) Unfortunately we did not win the vote and COD4 did. That is the way it goes.

As for OC and his other topic, he is talking about doing an impromptu GRAW night. It will be separate and have nothing to do with this poll.

I may have worded my original post a bit wrong, but I did realize that the throwback that OC is planning has nothing to do with this poll. I was just saying that it seems like people want to try out a selection of games that will probably take months to get around to with this official poll. Also if Battlefield 1943 multiplayer still works, I think that should make it on the list sometime.

Right on. We decided to do it once a month for a few reasons. 1) To make it a special event so it would not get old too quickly ... and 2) A lot of people don't own all these games so doing it once a month allows them time to get the game either by renting or buying it cheap. Doing one every week would make this hard for most people to manage.

I voted Reach and it looks like your R-E-A-C-H or H-O-R-S-E game might work out. Really looking forward to playing that when it wins.

Anyone can host any game on any night they want, and you do not have to wait for an "official" clan event if you can get the interest.

Changed my vote to Reach. I'd like to play some of those custom maps that I see on the web. They look fun as hell.
Also... IN YOUR FACE COD. I don't see why that's even on there when we played it last time

d@mn, time must be flying by. It seems like the Call of Duty throwback night was a week ago lol

No kidding- this month flew by me. Glad you posted about this Interseptor, I was going to bump this back when the poll closed. Should be fun times with the crazy maps/game modes.

Looking like Reach will be a blast!

I'll be there, Monday and Tuesday are bank holidays for the Queen's jubilee. f#ck yeah! I should hopefully be playing on my new TV.

Once again I'll miss this because of work, which can eat my ass. I work Friday night and Saturday morning so it's work, sleep, work for me. I really was looking forward to those Reach games Epic was posting about, too bad.

Either way, I'm a sad panda cuz I missed gaming with my friends because I had to go to work where my boss spent a good chunk of time verbally abusing me and the other asst manager. She's such a twatwaffle and I think it might be time to bring in Employee Relations. We'll see.
