Apex Practice Night - November 1st

Alright race fans, I've double check the date on 3 different calendars to make sure there's no mistakes. Thursday November 1st.

Apex Practice Night for E class builds.

We'll be using the tracks identified in the E-CLass track selection thread started last week. If you've not submitted your track selection, there's still time.

We'll kick it off between 8:00 and 8:30 central time zone to loosely coincide with our official race time. I'll keep the room open for a good while so late joiners won't get shorted practice time with fellow clan members.

See you guys this Thursday night.

Meh, its just practice. Interceptor and I will be available for tuning help if requested.

I should be on, maybe with a car tuned and everything this time!

I'll be at work Thurs night but I'll probably be tweaking my cars on Wed to make sure I'm ready for the tourney. It's probably gonna be '53 Beetle or the '40 Coupe.

While not a huge turnout was present for practice night (my apologies for the Thursday choice) the track time proved most helpful.

Too many things happened at once to clear up the connection problem I had with Kiiny. I will however opt to ban my daughter from using her Xbox on any race night going forward. Her rage quitting AC3 was a distraction sometimes.

Atrum had a good show on the track with his underpowered smart car illustrating that acceleration won't be needed for any of the smaller tracks that are on the E class list for next Wednesday. Interceptor raced consistently with the GT-R proving its a solid build for just about any ring of pavement. If there are any straights I can take advantage of Interceptor will have a shortage of ... "dem-feet" once the green flag drops.

Finally have a car tuned that can beat my C1 consistently on short tracks.
Unfortunately, my faster car is not very 'fast' at all. It's a bit quicker than my others (can hit 120-125 on road atlanta) and has VERY good braking, but it's acceleration is pretty sad.

I couldn't join. My Xbox had already been packed for when I move to my new apartment tomorrow. I doubt I'm going to have much time to prepare for the next tourney. I'm guessing the first week or two at the new place will be a bit hectic and hopefully no problems will arise from setting up my internet.

New Job, new apartment, Halo 4.
I'm going to be busy with just Halo 4, don't know how you're going to do it!
