I'll have to jump on and download the tunes and skins. This Saturday night would probably work better for me. Tomorrow is going to be a brutally long day and I might have to work a 17hr double on Friday so Thursday will be tough. Late night on Sat would be good too, more likely that my wife would be sleeping and we wouldn't be fighting for the tv.

Most importantly, is it legal to ask an employee to work such a shift? Nevermind the pay, you may want to consider the consequences of working like that without rest.

Good news, I got out of the 17hr shift. However, my company cares little for the employees in the position that I'm in. I'm basically a store manager waiting for my own store to open up or for someone to quit, die or get fired. That's how the company gets away with it. There's like 40 people in this position and we're lucky to have one opening for a store manager, so they can get us to jump thru all kinds of hoops and do all sorts of tricks to stay near the top of the promotion list. People say I should just quit but Michigan has practically zero jobs that will pay me the same amount and my wife and I have grown accustomed to our income. Anyways, it looks like the tourney is off for tonight?

i'll still be on i'm thinking... come test out the cars if nothing else... we can still do some JFF races with them tonight

Yeah, I wanted to try and do some practice after a rough day at work and the power went out just long enough to piss away the time that I could play. Oh well.

So it looks like the chatter here has started to die off. Are we giving up on this tourney, moving it to another pre-Forza 4 date, or waiting for Forza 4. I know there was some talk of running late night tonight but that seems to be where it ended. Just wondering what we're going to do.

I was down to run but it sounded like everyone was going to bail for the 29th and then nothing was confirmed for Sat night so I didn't jump on either night. I hope that we still go thru with this, even if we have to push it to Forza 4... this might make for a good Breakout Tourney for Forza 4. I'm just tossing that out to keep the concept alive.

I've got all the tunes and designs downloaded but I'm trying to figure out if this tourney is going to happen or not because I need a couple $100k to buy the parts in order to use the tunes for the cars. I don't mind putting in the wheel time to get the money and buy the parts but I don't want to put time into the game if we're dropping the tourney, especially since Forza 4 comes out in a week. Could we please try to figure out what's going on with this? I'd still really like to have the tourney run.

I'll still race. I get back tomorrow but I'm good for anytime after.

My week is crumbling but set a time and date and I'll try to be there. I doubt very much I will go back to Forza 3 after 4 is released so we better do it before next Tuesday.

Here's how things pan out for me... (all times EST)
Wed: 3-11pm
Thurs: 6:30a-5pm
Fri: off
Sat: 2-11pm
Sun: 2-11pm
Mon: 3-11pm
Tues: off - Forza 4 day!

So, if I'm going to make it it will have to be Thurs or Friday if it's our usual 8-8:30 EST start or like midnight if it's Sat/Sun/Mon.

Sooo, looks like this had died. I don't see anything for tonight, tomorrow night, or Monday night and since Forza 4 drops Tuesday I doubt there will be a big draw for it unless it can be moved to Forza 4. What's going on here?
