S7 Forza 3 S-Class Tourney

Our S7 Forza Championship Series is almost over and we find ourselves heading into the final races. Having run trough the lower classes of F, E, D, C, B and A we find ourselves facing down the final amateur class: S-Class. This is it! This is what we've been working towards. The final races of the season and the most difficult class yet. This is the top of the food chain and the cars are fast. Every single car in the game is up for grabs (except the race classes of course.). Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini... You name it. S-Class cars are the fastest yet and will put your skills to the test. Do you have what it takes?

And like before, the series will be 7 races. It has been a great series so far... be sure you're there to finish it out. Drivers will have 2 weeks to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win the gold.

Here are the details:

Date: Tuesday, July 6, 2010
Time: Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary)
Car Class: S-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: TBA
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the Champ.

PRIZES: TBA

So, two questions...

1) Is everybody OK with the date? Is everybody gonna be in town?
(Tuesday July 6, two days after the forth)

and

2) What are you guys using? Personally I will be using the 2006 Lambo Miura Concept. I'll post up some pics as soon as I am done painting it.

I'm not sure on a car yet I have a good group made already so I just have to test them out and maybe make some adjustments. The date should work for me.

I'm sure the paint will change between now and the tourney.. but here is a start... still tossing around a couple cars in addition to these as well...

Date is good with me... I haven't built a car yet, but have a few in mind.

i am fine ill post up my car when i am down with it

Question...between now and then can we have a couple "F-off" nights where we at least get together and test our builds? Just want to know what to go back and tweak, etc. or revamp everything and start over.

Thought i'd be a bit different and race the Ferrari Stradale, looking at all these leaderboard cars though...might change my mind if I can't get it fast enough.

What leader board cars? The only real leader board cars for S-Class are the Vipers (both 03 & 08).

The Skyline is mixed in with the Vipers a fair bit and a few of the others are leaderboard but not for S-Class but definitely fast.

I wasn't giving anyone sh1t, I was just trying to say that the competition is looking like it's going to be pretty fast, so I may have to give up on the Ferrari if I can't find the pace with it.

I was just thinking out loud, didn't mean to cause any offense.

I don't think I'll be able to make it tomorrow, have our family 4th of July BBQ on Tues... you guys can go on without me if needed

i m down to wait a bit as well as i got a job interview and if all goes well ill start today

I wouldnt complain about waiting a little... just nothing for me from the 14th to the 18th... i'll be out of town

Nice cars guys! And I don't mind waiting. You guys want to do it next week (July 13th)? Or just wait a full two weeks (July 20th)? The latter would be better for me due to my schedule with the kids but I can make either days work if need be. Just let me know what works.
