S7 Forza 3 A-Class Tourney
S7 Forza 3 A-Class Tourney
Our S7 Forza Championship Series marches on. It has been a long and interesting series so far. We have worked our way through the lower class and are left with only two more. Up next? A-Class and things are really heating up. We have finally hit the big time! This is where the big dog play and everything you have learned so far has been leading up to this. In fact the Forza community considers A-Class to be the best overall class and is by far the most common class played on Xbox Live.
It time to put what you have learned to the test and see if you have what it takes. The right car, with the right parts and the right tuning will make all the difference. A-Class cars are faster and require more skill than ever before. So, do you have what it takes to win?
And like before, we are extending the series to 7 races from here on out. Two more track but with less laps per track and the longer tracks are now in the rotation.
Drivers will have just over 1 week to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win the gold.
Here are the details:
Date:Tentative: Tuesday, June 22, 2010
Time:Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (in necessary)
Car Class: A-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: TBA
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length)
S7 Members ONLY!
The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the Champ.
PRIZES: TBA

Looking forward to next weeks Tourney. I can't wait! So far, it looks like I will be rocking the Porsche Cayman S. Here she is as of right now. Although I may change the paint sceme a little. The overall design is set but I may change some colors etc... Take a look and tell me what you think.

Spend 5/10 minutes doing the stroke fr inside of the F3 logo, should tie everything together better.

Man, I like that Interseptor...
Got me thinking..I don't think I have a Porsche, and if I did win one as a reward in SP-- I don't think I've ever actually pulled her out. Maybe I should see what she can do..
Gonna have to get some of you 'artistic bastards' to gift me some decent logos for my rides.

Not sure I get you. You mean go back and make sure the whole F3 logo is lined with black? Or go inside and put another border?S7 Epic wrote:Spend 5/10 minutes doing the stroke fr inside of the F3 logo, should tie everything together better.
I also think I am going to mess with the "Sacred 7 Racing" logo on the hood. I think I am going to make it gray with a black lining like the rest of the car. Well not exactly, but similar. Kinda like the small "S7" logo on the side, like a backdrop shadow.

It looks to me like you did the outline by putting a larger black one underneath, the problem with that is that the inner detail doesn't have a stroke to match, only the outermost parts are outlined.

That is exactly what I did. I will go back and try to outline the rest and see how it turns out.

I might roll with my Cayman again depending how it feels with more hp in it. That said....the Reventon is now within use...

The Reventon (or as it's also know the RE-ven-ton) is a S Class with a rating of 610. Will areo and heavy wheels drop it down to A Class?
Oh and I finished out the "F3" logo and "Sacred 7 Racing" logo on the hood. It's looking sharp but I haven't bothered to take a new pic.

Re: S7 Forza 3 A-Class Tourney
Friendly Reminder: The A-Class Tourney is tomorrow starting at 8:30pm. Be sure to show up on time if you don't want to get left out. If everyone shows up we might actually have to qualify this time around.
Oh and how about some more pictures of what you racing. So far only Glock and Myself have posted anything.

Re: S7 Forza 3 A-Class Tourney
Haven't done mine yet...gonna have to put some hours in tomorrow...it's likely to be the Cayman I raced last time though. Might give it a different paint job...world cup theme perhaps.
