What headset do you have?

I'm looking to get one, but there are so many.
I've summed it down to
Astro a40
Turtle Beach xo seven pro
Hyperx cloud 2

I'm looking for a pair that performance sounds decent. As well as with a mic that is crisp clear quality.

I have both the xo7 and the xp500 and love them both.

I've never used any hyperx headsets. I've been happy with the my tbs and astros though.

Pretty unanimously heard good things about the tb 500x's too

on my pc i run
Corsair Gaming H1500 Dolby 7.1

I used my TB XP500s wireless on my 360 and use them wired on my PS4 and I'm a fan of them.

XP500 could be used wireless for Xbox 360. They require a chat cable (about $5 on Amazon) for PS4, not sure about XB1.

Yes

I have the 500s too, and really like them. Mainly because they are 100% wireless on Xbox one, but they also sound really good. I also have the XO4's, and they are good too for a less expensive option.

I'm not sure if I want wireless or not. Are they flawless?
They have surround sound in them don't they?

Never had any issue with them when I ran then wireless. Every so often I get som static when using the chat cable on the PS4. And they're Dolby 7.1 Surround

I'm sure my local Best Buy has them. I'll always be able to return them if I'm not into them.

Ended up getting the xo 7. Hopefully it works out.
