Raids starting tomorrow, who's in?

I want to get a team of level 23+ (maybe higher? I don't know how hard they will be) going for tomorrow's raid. Who wants to join and what time are you guys available? With enough interest, maybe I'll start another thread with a poll to get multiple squads organized.

I don't know if 23 will cut it, but we haven't run it so who knows, but the raid is level 26.

Anyways, the first time we run it it'll be on "normal" so 23 might be ok.  I'm in regardless.  On from about 6PM - 11PM.

Yeah I was thinking 23 would be the lowest possible for the normal runs, but 25+ would be preferable. I would rather have a 23 with a full squad than 4 people 25+ lol. I know a lot of people haven't been able to play the game a ton since it just came out so tomorrow might just be to feel things out.

Yeah, CST, my bad!

As far as having 4...I don't think you can even do that (but not sure).  I believe they said you'll have to have the full 6 person team.  Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I'm down to try - level 24 currently.  Unless something drops tonight I won't make 25 by tomorrow.

I'm in. I work 8-5 Pacific. I usually go workout right after work but can move my schedule around and be on anytime after 5:00pm

d@mn boys. Y'all need to slow down a bit on levelin up..lol. I'm off for three days and plan on catching up to y'all. Prob not by tonite though. I will get there though

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting generally caught up. I was able to jump to 24 in no time. I think with all my current gear upgraded I'll get close to or barely hit 25. From there you need to get Legendary equipment, which is luck of the draw for who gets it. I'm playing a lot of PvP so I'll get all my faction legendary equipment in short order.

Yeah, the grind is going to really start kicking in for people around 25-26...and it's one thing to get the legendary gear, it's a whole other ball game trying to upgrade them!

LOL!  True dat Husker.  Currently 25 but I should be able to hit around 27/28 once my gear is leveled up.  The gear is only the start.  Ascended and other rare material is hard to come by.  I'll be good for my first rare upgrade but the others could take a while.  

Currently rocking Blue Helmet, Exotic Gloves, Purple Chest & Blue Legs.  My Exotic is only one upgrade away from fully upgraded but I just got my Purple Chest last night so that is 5 more upgrades available. 

* I should have another set of Purple Gear in the next few days as well. Just gotta get more Marks.  I maxed out this weeks Vanguard Marks.

I just read the announcement from Bungie.

You HAVE to be level 26 to even join in on the raid. I'll hit Faction Level 2 tomorrow and buy a couple legendaries which should put me to 26. I probably won't be able to start the raid until Wednesday though. Maybe later on tomorrow.

Yeah I'm gonna try to cap my crucible marks before the reset in an hour and then do all the single player bounties before I go to bed. That should give me enough to buy one legendary tonight and hopefully one more tomorrow.

Take that back!!! I just hopped into a raid solo at level 25 (and quickly backed out haha). Still going for 26 tonight though and hopefully 27 by tomorrow if I'm lucky.

Well that's that then, lol.  Maybe we can set a tentative raid try for the weekend, maybe we'll have 6 players 26's by then.  With the Vanguard Mark reset I'll be able to have a couple more legendary armor items by Friday night.  Time to hit those level 24 strikes and whatever daily's and the weekly we have so we can gear up.

Either way it's a nice goal to shoot for.

Fortunately I just hit 26 so there's that at least but it will probably be a few weeks till we have enough of the PS4 guys ready to raid.  I think 4 of us might be ready by the weekend and we might try and grab a few randoms at the Tower and give it a shot.

You do NOT have to be level 26 to be in the raid.  I saw a video with a group that had 3 level 25's.  I think the issues is that the raid is set at level 26.

With that said, even if you are below 26 it's probably not a good idea.

That's interesting since their announcement was pretty precise in the wording. Works for me though!

Yeah, but they were getting owned horribly though.  Currently watching a stream of all 27's and a 28 and they are getting waxed (on Normal).  This isn't going to be for the faint of heart, lol.

Hey, Also a long time wow player, 9 years. Ive raided every raid endgame and played in a top 150 world rank guild and Im not saying wow was easy, but this looks freakin\' hard compared to wow raids. The team cooardination needed for this is far beyond wow, im just amazed if this is only the first raid in this game. Bungie, gotta say you did it, you freakin\' made a world class game.

Sounds better than the boring level 24 stuff. Not that I don't enjoy it, they just aren't difficult 99% of the time.

I'm planning to play a lot more PVP this week - I didn't want to last week because I didn't have the weapons I wanted ready to go.  While not in a party I'll be doing strikes mostly though until I max that which won't take long now doing 24s - if anyone gets a 2+ lobby going for PVP then hit me up.

There's nothing wrong with getting a group together and trying even the first part to get the d@mn door open, lol.  If we can't do it then we gear up and try again later.  At some point we'll need to test ourselves to see exactly where we are at and where we need to improve.  Looks to me though like we better be prepared for annihilation if we are aren't at least level 25-26 at minimum.

I was thinking the same thing.  I may jump in and test the waters a bit.  It will be a little while till we have a group ready to attempt this on the PS4 but I want too see what is in store.  Plus, I can't resist new shiny things!
