Bad pic. It's all black. Just different textures. The green you see is a reflection of the background on the shiny side of the console.
Are you sure?
Even the table this is on is split into two colors. I know lighting can make a difference, but this is clearly split in black and gray.

It looked black to me. Might be black and dark gray. Might just be a satin and matte finish.

Won't see anything useful about it until e3. The guide UI looks improved, lot of cool customization. Kinect appears built in to the new console.
When did they say something about Forza 5? I've watched the whole thing and didn't hear that.

about the installed game thing
for people who have more then one xbox in there home. like me and move around from one to another.
if you installed a game and its linked to your account and your account and game are both in the cloud i would think you would be able to move free from xbox to xbox as long as your account is playing that game .

Re: Nex Xbox Official Reveal...
Interesting thing
Microsoft on Tuesday confirmed users won’t be able to replace the Xbox One’s built in 500GB hard drive. Unlike the Xbox 360, which had an easily replaceable HDD, the internal storage for the One is much less accessible. 500GB might sound like a lot initially, but that’ll soon fill up with a library of games, videos, etc.
Fortunately, it’s not as bad as you think. Users can simply hook up external storage options, which Microsoft said can be used for everything internal storage can be used for. “That includes game installs and downloads,” Engadget confirmed.
Once the One officially launches, I’m sure there will be numerous videos detailing how to replace the onboard storage. 2TB for the One? Why not? That might not be a convenient option for most consumers, however, so it’s nice to hear external storage is just as capable.

Got around to watching the footage. I must say I'm pretty excited for Xbox One now. I'd like to see what Sony will pull in attempt to top/match Microsoft. Forza 5, yes. Halo TV Series, yes. Can't wait to see what happens at E3. Figured I didn't need to see the last 10 minutes of the reveal once I heard the three magic words. XD

Re: Nex Xbox Official Reveal...
Ok I just finished watching the reveal and wow. I want one bad.
Here are some of my thoughts impressions and question
Thoughts
Some of the features like quick switch multitask, snap mode are really cool looking and I am hoping the work as smooth as shown. Skype is a great added app to the Xbox. Espn/ fantasy sports is epic win to me watch the games and follow your fantasy teams all be that you play on the espn site but epic win.
Live tv is going to be a great feature if they don't have to many restrictions or no added cost. It in theory should just work through the HDMi in port but we shall see. Game DVR record your game play edit and share that is an awesome feature for those of us who don't have a capture card. Bigger matches with more players could be really cool in some games if the maps are big enough. Forza 5 oh my god I want to see more I can't wait for E3 good thing it is close.
15 exclusive titles from Microsoft studios this year and 8 of them new titles. 15,000 servers currently on xbl with the new xbl for the on there will be 300,000. Wow I hope they let Ea and other games access some of those
Cod ghost. Looks op and I may actually have to play the single player this time around. The comparison graphics to MW3 looked unreal. Is it me or did they seem to borrow more than just the title from ghost recon, peek behind cover, slide, better moving/jumping over walls....
questions
Ok so things I want to know more about like are they going to increase the friends list size, will Skype chat be the new way to party chat or will they still integrate party chat like on the 360, price, release date, does the USB 3.0 allow non MS drives, 40 innovative design features in the new controller.... What are they, more powerfull and personal ok more details on that, halo live action series is a premium show really xbox gold is not enough any more,Nfl integration is it free or $$$$, what are the features with the NFL deal?
What do you guys think?

Just watched a video showing the controller and it has No mic in port just a micro USB port on the top. Ahhhh I don't want to buy a new mic but maybe this is the step Microsoft is taking to go to complete wireless tech with the head set I can home it means blue tooth right?

I don't need bigger friends list. I just need a way to add a custom field to them. I would love to put peoples real name in there so I would know who the hell I am talking to. Not necessarily something everyone can see just me.
Re: Nex Xbox Official Reveal...
More like a contact's list with all the info instead of a friends list. That way you could store their Skype, YouTube, email, real name, etc... I kinda like that idea.

i look forward to people on xbox being able to call me if im on my pc and say hey were playing xbox lets go
(not like miller has not already logged into d3 to find me and say cod practice meow)
or the txt from oc and nate XD

Josh let's hope so a limit of 8 to a party chat is fail.
Another quote from a cnet interview about ms points
CNET: Are Microsoft Points -- the money people have to buy with real money to buy digital goods on Xbox live -- dead? Or will they be with this next Xbox?
Henshaw: We have not made any specific announcements yet about what the digital content ecosystem looks like. But I can tell you that everything is going to get much simpler, and we're all going to happy in that sense.
Hopefully this means ms points are going to be no more and you can just use money.

Wow, the constant notifications of people popping online will be insane.
I'm only thinking about the possibility that we'll FINALLY get a decent and above par baseball game!!S7 OC wrote:15,000 servers currently on xbl with the new xbl for the on there will be 300,000. OMG can you imagine the detail and visuals that can be pumped into the next MLB game? The dedicated servers, the graphics, the detail to uniforms, cleats, bats, batting gloves, walls and outfields, the sponsors that will jump on board making it a bigger and better experience than ever before. Run fantasy teams (like he showed with NBA) along side MLB games. Can't wait for that.

I imagine they will just integrate the two chat clients together. No reason you can't hop in a party chat and invite someone that's on skype.
A big thing I hope to see is increased party chat size. If we have 20 people playing "CoD 53: It's still going" then I'd like to be able to chat with all of them while I hot lap in forza.

I am interested in finding out more about this too. Will my Astro's work with chat functionality? I know the Astros will work for game sound since optical out is confirmed but what about chat? Very interested to find out. PS4 too for that matter.

Re: Nex Xbox Official Reveal...
I would doubt anything that plugs into the controller "audio" port will work, and you'll need a new headset like we did before. Now the headset manufacture could make an adapter that hooks to the existing headset and to the new "accessories" port, but that would keep them from selling new hardware. Seeing as we didn't see or hear of a standard headset, I'm wondering if the kinect isn't the mic with the sound in the normal speaker set up, and all "headsets" going to be 3rd party stuff or simply accessories not required for the "base" package/experience.
