the TV thig is cool but you ahve to run your cable box through your xbox inorder to use most of those functions, except the ones like espn and nfl that have dedicated apps, which makes it weak sauce. bascially the xbox is just an interface with your cable dvr and lets you control it and watch it through the dashboard. So you still have to have a cable box which makes it weak. I mean sure I can flip from game to tv on the xbox without having to use the input button on my tv remote but big deal. Now if I split my 60 inch tv with live tv on one side and my game on the other then cool, but I doubt they will let u

So the console war is essentially even right now with:

PS4: Literally a cloud, interfaces directly with your brain.

XB1: Does everything, including laundry and dinner preparation.

Slight edge goes to PS4, while they have absolutely no details on any type of fees they have, for some reason we're going to dock Xbox for also not listing anything regarding fees.

That sounds about right. Accept for the part on docking points for not listing info. Both parties have missing info. I have said in almost every post, for both sides that more info is needed.

I do dock M$ for having sh1tty information management and Execs that don't actually know what is going on with their own console.

On par with the XTV. In fact I had flash back of the Wii U presentation while watching the XTV presentation.

I guess PS4 has the advantage since the PS4 is invisible apparently. They had game demos showing off the PS4, yet the console couldn't be seen.

Seriously. I have not bought into any kool-aid. Not Sony and Not Microsoft. Seriously. I am looking at both and seeing what each has to offer. At this point it is ridiculous to choose a side. WE NEED MORE INFORMATION. PERIOD.

I do find it interesting that everyone ( < Not everyone, it is a figure of speach) else here seems to have bought into the M$ kool-aid. They showed nothing but multi-tasking and TV. And just because a box was on stage, under glass that no one could touch, does not mean the Xbox One was anymore present that the PS4 at the Sony conference. All you got was a mock-up of the final design. Nothing more.

Both presentations were running on Dev Kits. Both.

But I am seriously considering both consoles. No favorites. Trying to be objective and unbiased. I will buy both at some point but I still don't honestly know which console I will buy first.

I like a lot of what I saw at both conferences. I honestly don't give a sh!t about TV functionality or sports stuff. The PS4 honestly looks very good this time around and a lot of what they said sounds great.

But mostly today I have played devils advocate. A lot of guys here seem pretty diehard for the Xbox One and I honestly don't see why. Cause they own an xbox now? Or cause they assume it will be better? So I have made counter points and had a little fun here and there too. Mostly I have been honest and just wanted people to see that there are in fact two companies putting out some pretty cool stuff.

And I honestly thought the Sony conference was better.

And now that the serious stuff is out of the way I will go back to calling the Xbox One, XTV. Thank you for your time.

XTV controller is sexy! Not gonna lie. And Xbox already has the best controller on the market.

So...will you find a way to program the XB1 controller for the PS4?

That would be sick! But no. The PS4 controller look nice too and is supposed to be a big improvement as well. I currently use my PS3 controller for PS3 and Xbox controller for Xbox. Life goes on. But the Xbox controller is superior. No doubt.
