What class do you prefer ?

Just curious what everyone likes playing so far, it can get top-heavy real quick if there's too many of a single class, and it might be nice to know what people like to play so we can base our strategies on it.

So far I'm all engineer, not the best at the run and gun, and I don't have the patience for scout. I do like my UAV and I'm pretty good at marking targets. Really liked that in Homefront and I like it here as well. I so want the flying UAV that turns into a car.

For me Engineer seems to fit me the best. I've never been a run & gunner and when I try I get frustrated because I can't hang with guys that are. I've always been a team player and being a bad run & gunner makes me feel like I'm letting the team down. At least as an engineer I can provide UAV and sensor intel back to the rest of the guys that can do a much better job of actually taking the enemies out.

In previous ghost recon games I used rifle man in this I tend to use engineer but prefer the guns in the rifleman class. I think som of the engineer tools will by not used in the full game as people use to turn off uavs in ranked mp matches. So I will wait and see what I want to use.

i preffer to snipe im not good at close combat.

I've only played the rifleman because of the gun selections but I might try some other classes. Usually I'm not really good in an assault class but I'm able to see and engage enemies easier in this game so I might try staying with rifleman until it gets to where it just doesn't work for me.

Any class, so long as my gun has a suppressor on it.

This. I've always had the need to put a suppressor on every gun I use, in every game I play. It gives the advantage of being able to flank an entire team and not worrying too much on them finding where you are.

Now if you're a scout with a silenced weapon you can essentially cut off an entire path with smart use of the cloaking.

I just love killing people and having them try to figure out where you were.

The only problem with that, at least from what I experienced in the beta games I played is that it's d@mn near impossible in this game to remain hidden with all the sensor grenades, cameras and UAV's.

Unless there are people on your team constantly getting hacked, these are minor problems that are solved with proper placement.

I'd rather they just re-release GRAW 2. Now THAT was a game. Every other freakin\' game these days is turning into CoD. I think that's part of the reason I mostly play PC games these days.

So Husker, do you UAV or are you a fast hacker? Personally I think I'm going to dedicate two slots to Engineer so I can go either way based on need.

I r glad Sticky is going rifleman. I have a prayer at living thru the match because they will be so angry at getting squat humped by him they wont have time to search for me napping behind a bush piloting a UAV.

I'm really hoping they have a hardcore or classic type playlist with no sensor balls or UAVs. That's what I loved about GRAW and GRAW2. Sneaking around the map, making bold runs across open areas hoping they don't look. With a few engineers on a team it's not the same at all. Still fun but a lot different.

The only problem with this is that it completely eliminates any purpose for engineers. They already have bad guns and no body armor.

I think they call it Ghost Recon for a reason. A full team of engineers spamming UAVs and sensor balls kind of just makes it like FFA Halo.

I'm not trying to say that a mode with things turned off is a bad idea, just that if that happens you end up wiping out an entire class and I'm not so sure they want to do that. Honestly I'd be absolutely fine with that kind of gameplay and would have no problem choosing another class for that. I'd be fine with nothing to guide you except your own skill and stealth. No sensors, no UAV's, no cameras, etc.

I the Graw games there if you played they had a UAv that any one on the team could control and it would mark enemys on your hud with red diamonds but when we played clan matches and ranked matches (to earn xp) they was an option to turn them off. Yes it would make that class sort of useless but it wouldn't surprise me to see people doing this if they run the game the same with ranked rooms that anyone can control like in previous Ghost games. But I can't wait to see what they are going have in the final game the 22nd can't get here sooner.

I play the Scout. Flanking is where it's at son! Also, keep in mind that there are other classes that are not unlocked for the beta and they could totally be bad ass. I can't wait to find out.

and other game modes. like Siege and blind siege

I'm sort of running in blind when it comes to how each class plays since I never played the beta, but I'd probably play the more 'assault' class more than the rest. However I would like to try the sniper class.

No josh you can't wear your dee da dee helmet. They will see u to easy
