Presenting the Hot Lap Series #2 - E-Class

These events will take place over a 2 week time period. Basically, from 1 season event to the next. Being that our first event is 2 (ish) weeks off it's time for the first event. The goal of this event is to post the fastest lap time on a pre-selected track, in a pre-selected class. You MUST HAVE PROOF of your time. Also, it has to be within this time period. That means if you ran the track 3 seconds faster than everyone 2 years ago, you do not win. For proof, your best option is either a pic of the screen (quality can be bad, just needs to be legible) or a saved video of the race.

Interseptor and Husker posted up some killer times. They set a high bar and only improved it as the event went on. Be on the lookout for more people participating this week and even more competition.

These are all VERY fast times so far. Do not be discouraged if you can't break into the 53's. However, if you want to learn how - click on one of our times in forza and watch our race. Change to the perspective you race in and watch when we brake, how we turn, when we accelerate, etc. You'll definitely improve your times.

Wow nice Pinto time. I'll have to try it out.

Pinto is a beast for the first couple classes. I had one ready for like D-F last season.

Nice time! I think I can sneak by you with a perfect lap. At 52.7 you must be well within the 3 digit places.

Yeah, I just started getting into manual with clutch, and the difference from automatic and plain manual is kinda significant! One of these days I'll be up in the front of the pack giving you guys a run for your money

Just wait until you go no assists. As I've slowly turned them off it's crazy how much they slow you down. That being said, it also makes it that much easier to wreck.

Ok, the spark is ridiculous. I posted a 52.867 in the Pinto last night. There were 3 areas where I could gain some time. 1st corner I could gain about .1 by hitting it just right, corner before the downhill I could gain another .1, and at the bottom of the hill I could probably get .3
That means at best I could get around 52.3xx in the Pinto.

I tuned a spark in 5 minutes, brought it out just to see if it was really any faster (since top 1000 times are respectable in any car)...
now I easily got into the 52.6xx times without even trying. I stopped after 8 laps so that I can still potentially beat the time in my Pinto.

So... Spark OP.

Ok, I can't stop. I hit a 51.7 on a dirty lap (with the spark) which is in the 1xx placement. I think I might be able to break into the top 100 if I tweak my tune just a little bit. Don't really care if it's a leaderboard car if I can break into the top 100 lol.

Best of luck.  Personally, I am done. If you guys beat me this time, congratz!  My Eleven is pretty much tapped out.

I'm done myself.  I have got to concentrate on some of the longer tracks.

Yeah, since I can't make the event I need something to hold me over till D-class. I'm not submitting my Spark times for this contest as I don't think it's fair.

When are we rockin the D class Hot Laps?  Where are we goin this time? NomNom wants a taste.

Sorry, I was out of town (videos to follow) at a massive 3 day rave, I'll update this with results and the new track today.

Can't wait to nom nom a new track!  My D-Class baby is gonna be a hotlap champ!
