Re: HLS #6 - A-Class
I would love to see an update with the total times so far. But for now I put up a time last night with my Tourney car the Elise (not a Leaderboard car FYI).
Date: 8/19/13
Time: 1:38.9XX
Car: Lotus Elise
P.S. I am still sick and have a Kidney Stone so that time might be a little off. My brain isn't working all that well right now. I'll double check it later. It was 8 tenths faster than Atrum's time which I think was 1:39.7XX.

Re: HLS #6 - A-Class
I'll update the total times tonight. I think anything sub 1:15 is very fast. That Alfa of mine feels like a fast car. It might not be optimal for the track, but that was still a pretty fast time. I believe the RS5000 or w/e is the 'leaderboard' car for this track. Didn't see anything else when I glanced at the top times.

That's a very nice time KnightOwl. It'll be a tough time beating that in my current car.

Re: HLS #6 - A-Class
Thanks guys that's about as good as its going to get for me. I might be able to knock a couple tenths off the first turn but I'm not going to try.

Next step is loading whatever the leaderboard car is and going "OMG I'm suddenly 3 seconds faster" lolS7 KnightOwl wrote:Thanks guys that's about as good as its going to get for me. I might be able to knock a couple tenths off the first turn but I'm not going to try.
Sorry about not getting the overall times updated yet guys, I keep forgetting at home and at work I dont have access to the forza website to check times.

Re: HLS #6 - A-Class
Right now I'm bouncing back and forth between my Evora and my Masarati. They both put up about a 1:21/1:22 when I have my grip tune on the Masarati.
The Evora rides like it's on rails and is super easy to drive, but it doesn't have a ton of balls for straights. The Masarati has two builds, grip and speed, which benchmark at 199.6 and 222.0 respectively. I think the Evora hits like 185-190 on the benchmark. I haven't run either of them on Le Mans or anything with a straight to test the actual top end though.

Re: HLS #6 - A-Class
Puppet, here's my advice:
If a car is too easy to drive, you have to drive it that much better to keep up with everyone. Example:
Car A is a rocket, you can mess up corners and gain it back in the straights. If you corner well you pull ahead.
Car B is a handling beast, if you hit a corner normal Car A keeps up with you and you lose in the straight. You have to hit a killer/fast apex to gain on them.
Handling cars can be viable, I just know through (literal) years of experience that it's a lot more difficult to place higher in them.
PS: You could always bust out something like an Exige or RS5000

Re: HLS #6 - A-Class
I'll probably run the Maserati because of it's speed and versatility. I'd probably use the Evora if someone pulls Rally, Fujimi, or another curvy course.
