Favorite Weapons

Now that most people have unlocked several weapons, what is your favorite so far?

I like the AEK-971 and F2000 for the assault class. At first I thought the AEK-971 was best, as I felt it was better at longer ranges, but the F2000 has quickly become my favorite as it seems to be just as good at a distance. I like them with the grip, IR scope and heavy barrel.

For the support class I like the M27 IAR. It's more of a cross between the assault rifles and LMGs. I also use the IR scope with it as well as the grip.

Sniper class I use the trusty 870MCS with the flechette rounds and RDS. That thing is crazy good, and the flechettes give it a bit of range.

I really dont' play the engineer, but want to as the SCAR seems to be a good weapon.

I also use the PP2000 and UMP-45 with the various classes (mainly Engineer and Recon).

I main Support class. and I absolutely love the M240B. I've maxed it out, and I love it so much.

Yeah, that thing is a beast.

I like to play the Support class also, and I tend to roll with the M249 most of the time. I usually equip it with the flashlight, a sight, and the bipod. I like that it holds a lot of ammo and is great for laying down suppressive fire for defending positions.

If I'm looking to do a little more offensive support work, I usually go with the RPK with the laser, a sight, and the bipod. While this weapon doesn't have the carrying power for ammo, it can be switched to a single shot option. With an acog type sight it makes for a poor man's sniper rifle, but it can still be switched back to auto to lay down cover fire. I also like it as an offensive choice because it's lighter and allows for easier movement.

My Battleog top 3 weapons:

M416: 502 kills
UMP 45: 252
Knife: 158

Anything else I use, I'm still below 100 kills, in which case I don't care about it so much. Gotta say though, I like the gun selection in this game. I'm going to hit the Battlefield hard while you guys jam over on the MW3 stage.

Assault: F2000 w/ EOTech, Grip, and Tac-Light or M16A3 w/ ACOG, Bi-Pods, and Laser.

Engineer: G36C w/ EOTech, Grip, and sometime Silencer, or M4A1 with EOTech, Grip, and Tac-Light

Support: M27 IAR (Things a beast): EOTech, Grip, Heavy Barrel.

Recon: UMP or MP7.... ( Find that recon classes are more effective with Sub-Machine Guns)

Just got the G36 really liking this one
The A-91 has been a hell of a gun for me
The M416 and the M249, UMP-45, and cant forget the the 870mcs its even great in real life

I am waiting for the AS VAL to try it, as I have got used to the PDW-R having only 20 bullets, so the AS VAL will probably replace the PDW-R as it has faster fire rate, I try to squad with people with SQ-Ammo, and also it has more range and a bult in suppressor.
