Turtle Beach Issues Empty Turtle Beach Issues

Post by DeadSockPuppet Tue May 25, 2010 11:43 pm

I just got a 55" Samsung 630 LCD tv and I'm having problems getting my Turtle Beach headset to work. My old tv (Aquos) had Audio out jacks to plug in the red/white cables from the headset's box. The Samsung doesn't have the jacks. From what I've gathered from looking online, it looks like I have to buy a HDMI Audio Adapter cable (since I'm using the HDMI cable for the Xbox)? Has anyone else run into this problem or does anyone have any suggestions?

HDMI would be the way to go since you dont have the AV cables input.

You do not need the HDMI adapter to get audio out of your Xbox. I'm asuming you have the regular AV cables for your 360. You can pry off the plastic housing, and it will fit on top of the HDMI plug. It will save you some $$$ in buying the "thinner" HDMI audio adapter. I'll see if I can find some pics and post them for you.

This could be a failed post as I can't even view the video I'm linking (YouTube is Blocked at my works firewall), but from the description this should be it:
