Re: S7 Anime Club Monthly Feature - October 2016
I went ahead and posted today for better visibility and to let people get started over the weekend. Let me know your first impressions and thoughts just be sure to keep it spoiler free until we discuss the first half on the 15th.
P.S. Have you already seen it? That's cool. You might want to re-watch it to refresh your memory and be sure to join the discussion either way. Oh and don't worry, we will eventually cover something you haven't seen (yes, even you Kenny).

Re: S7 Anime Club Monthly Feature - October 2016
Yeah, I intend to bust into this sometime this weekend. I have personally watched this series years ago and while I remember that I really liked it, most of the details are lost. I'm really looking forward to watching it again now.
I've watched a lot of anime in the last few years and I'm interested to see how it holds up to my current standards.
Anyone else here seen it?

For anyone else who doesn't have Hulu or Funimation. Here is another link to watch the episodes. I haven't heard of this anime either. However this is a perfect time to start watching anime as I'm starting to get sick. Time to open up the packs of coco, slow cook some chili, and enjoy the sweet bliss of a good anime.

Sigh. Well I found a site that dubbed it so I can early focus on the story. I'm on episode 8 already.

I only point out funi, as it's free, has dub, and is a legal place to view

Sorry that was a sigh of me being unable to read the fine print before moving on to a different site. Not a sigh of "O I hate you Atrum".

I made good progress last night (and this morning) as well. I just finished up ep 7 before I had to go to work.

Just started the 1st episode. Intro strong reminds me a lot of the dot hack soundtracks. I haven't checked, but I suspect same or similar artists for the OP.

Oh, from 7-13 it's a pretty wild ride. You are in for some fun. The show really evolves throughout the season.

Well, I ended up watching through around 20 last night. Looks like the final few eps should be pretty awesome.

Re: S7 Anime Club Monthly Feature - October 2016
Finished the series.
It really is broken up into eps 1-10
and then 11 - 26
Can't wait until our discussion date hits. 1-10 is a very satisfying section of anime - definitely watch if you haven't yet!

Re: S7 Anime Club Monthly Feature - October 2016
Yeah, 13 is not really a good stopping point story wise. 1-10 is all you need for the first half discussion. but we can discuss the beginning of the second arc if everyone is through 13. There are some interesting questions to be asked just based off the beginning of the 2nd arc. Especially with the new character introduced.

Totally agree. I'm all done with the first 13 episodes. I would keep watching but I'm sure I would spoil sh1t accidentally while discussing so ill hold off.
Re: S7 Anime Club Monthly Feature - October 2016
Just a friendly reminder. You have through the end of the week to finish up the first half of the series. We will probably start discussion over the weekend.

Re: S7 Anime Club Monthly Feature - October 2016
Bah, still haven't watched this yet. Been so concerned about an interview that I had today over the past week that I've just been brushing up on my coding terminologies to be prepared to be bombarded with questions. But the interview ended up being very informal. Felt like I studied for nothing. lol

So, it sounds like you're setup perfectly to watch it for the end of the week! Really only 10 eps to be caught up on initial arc

I hate that so much. Graduated with a computer engineering degree from my university which was 50% electrical engineering and 50% computer science. I go into my interview and the one CompTIA Storage+ book is the reason I landed my job. Fucken weird world we live in.
