The Division is live!

I don't think it has anything to do with cod. Very few people play it anymore. I also don't think it's fps vs third person cover. I think it is more just a matter people didn't like what the game offered. Personal preference. A few people play division but you are right not as many people got into the game on the Xbox side. I also think the few who played it didnt keep up with updates.

I really enjoyed this game! it was something different, but then it seemed like everyone said it was being real buggy and what not so i haven't been on until they get it all patched up and going. Then i plan on playing more again!

I used to play the division quite regularly until they released the first update with the incursion. The game was semi broken at that point with too many exploits. So I stopped playing until they could fix some of the problems. By the time the problems where fixed I had moved onto other games.

I have been playing a lot of battleborn recently because it's fun and there are quite a few guys playing regularly. I hadn't seen many people playing the division so I play battleborn to be able to play with my friends.

I still have the division and am looking forward to starting it up again. When I play I usually just matchmake because I don't have as much time to game as I have in years past when I was running cod for the clan. Because of that I wasn't any where near the level of everyone else when there where people playing.

Granted if we all were still playing on the same console there would have been more people online playing and maybe the game wouldn't have died so fast.

played ALOT of FPS , third person , moba's , RTS , MMO's so on and so on , on ps4 xb1 and pc but really like other people have said the game was ALOT of fun and loved it but the amount of Bugs, hacks , cheater's KILLED the game for me

i even own the season pass that how much i loved the game played 2 days on release and was like f#ck yes season pass was bought played a ton of end game patch came out and the game at least on the xbox version was UNPLAYABLE. fixes were to little to late and game died off and really cod is NOT the big title on the xbox right now battleborn is

Had a solid night tonight. Picked up my 4th 240 Lone Star piece and swapped my 182 BMAK for a 204 M60 and it's just melting things. With my Lone Star gear and some other bonuses I'm up to almost +200% ammo so I run with over 3500 rounds between my LMG and my MP5 ST.

And now that I don't have to keep Electronics up for my BMAK, I've gone tank with 375k toughness and about 72% DMG mitigation. My DPS is only around 116k, but the 185 round mag in my LMG and not having to reload allows me to lay down tons of suppressive fire. I do miss how much of a boost I would get from my Overdose, but I can take a lot more DMG so that helps.

Charles - we missed you tonight. Voyager and I rolled with one of his friends and one of mine from the UK and we did pretty well, aside from falling apart right near the end and getting wrecked a couple times in the DZ by NPCs.

I was gonna hope on and play with you puppet ended up falling asleep haha work was a bit crazy last night but I plan on playing with you guys today or tonight sometime.

Swapped out my 2 predetor's mark pieces for 2 final measure, which swapped +20% optimal range (meh) for +50% exotic DMG resilience (better). The swap also took about 5k from DPS and added 15k to toughness to bring me up to 390k. On top of that, my DMG mitigation went from around 60-65% to 75%, with both changes helping to increase my tankiness. I definitely can use a group because my healing skills with this build just aren't where I'm used to them.

Not if they never fixed the bug where having exotic damage resilience increased damage you took.

That's true, but I thought that was "protection from elites" and I thought that bug was fixed in 1.1. Did a quick search and didn't see anything so I'll have to check on the resilience on Reddit and the Division Forums.

Yeah....Friday turned into a bust night....Had Fun Saturday night though....Learned a lot on how to "Strengthen" my character. Next weekend I'll be on again to try and advance. Thanks for the help on Saturday Puppet

You're welcome Charles, good times were had by all. We've got a pretty good group of regulars now with you, Chippy, Voyager, myself and some of the other guys that Chippy, Voyager and I run with. Keep adding everyone we run with to your friends list and you'll always have people on. The people I run with are in all time zones (including UK), so there's probably always someone on.

From what I can tell, this perk hasn't been bugged. My guess is you might have been confusing it with protection from elites which was doing the opposite of what it was supposed to do.

This weekend the DZR Podcast crew is sponsoring a Sherpa Weekend (26th & 27th) to help people with everything from HVT to DZ, Incursions to general leveling.  I've tried running the FL incursion a couple times and haven't gotten past wave 11, so I signed up and am going to try and get sherpa'd through it.

It takes just a few minutes to sign up and get set up on the Discord to be able to run and they're not limited to one platform, they'll be helping on PC, XB1 and PS4.  After I get through the incursion, I'll be planning on trying to hit the usual weekly stuff - dalies/weeklies, HVT, search & destroy, and probably some DZ.

Puppet....do you think this is something that would be good for me to do?

I've been playing MLB The Show the last few days and haven't logged into The Division. It feels weird. Starting to get that itch again. Anybody want to play tonight? Ill also be on this weekend as well.

@UC - It never hurts to get a Sherpa and run something and see how it's supposed to go when all cylinders are firing. I became frustrated with Falcon Lost because the groups I was in kept getting stuck. Not being able to beat that has made me not want to play it or try Clear Sky. Also, I should get some good rewards, so it should be worthwhile. It's all up to you. Finally, I listen to the podcasts that most of these players put on so I'm curious to see how they actually play and hopefully I'll learn something to help me in the future.

@Voyager - week nights are out for me unless I'm on vacation because my midget dictator doesn't go to bed until it's too late for me to jump on. I'll be on Fri (when I'm not in my Sherpa group) and Sat night as well as probably some during the day Sat since my wife works.

I just signed up myself I will also be on this weekend. Week days I barely play with work so I will catch most of you guys this weekend. Looking forward to the chaos we run into this time lol.

OK Puppet....The Gear Up Weekend was a blast. It was nice to meet up with advanced players that were happy to help people out. I'm glad you turned me on to it. The Discord app is cool and the guys that run it do a great job

Yeah, I was glad I was able to get through Falcon Lost and I'll maybe do it once more on challenge mode just to say I did it. Had a good time running with Tango on Saturday night too. It's too bad that the 1.3 patch was delayed for PS4, but the patch has about as much stuff that I like as stuff that I dislike, so I'm not in a hurry.

News from the XB1 Division crew (what few of us there are).

FYI - Patch 1.3 dropped today. Started with a new lead-in mission that sets you up to open the Terminal Ops Ctr below the Base of Opns (2 levels). If you have the season pass it is easy to open it up - if not, then you have to pay $14.99. It's like a whole new world and allows you to play a new set of "underground" missions that are all "no respawn". New loot, .i.e. wpns, armor and currency (weapons kits). New high rank level is 40. Saw a weapon that goes as high as 228. Second floor vendor with high end wpns and blueprints for sale has been adjusted - vendor is still there but no longer has the blueprints as they have been moved to a new vendor in the Terminal Ops.

I still play Division every night to get more Phoenix credits to buy new high end wpns or craft blueprints. It's fun because there are so many S&D and HVT mission combinations as any given one can occur in any of several places on the map. Plus the gear set pieces are dropping regularly for me now so I am close to building a complete gear set or two. I like the game because Ubi tries to keep it fresh buy dropping new stuff and missions faster than Destiny. I still have Destiny and will play it again but not until it drops some new DLC (looks like it won't be until Sept) ..... bored with what there is now. I do get on every Fri to see if Xur has anything new or to get any updates available.
