No reason though at this point to worry about "5 seconds left" on the Atheon timer since it'll be randomly chosen who gets taken and who stays.

Also, can't do that on the Templar fight anymore since the last patch.

Will be an interesting experience considering I haven't even done the raid the "right way" since the Templar fight was patched.

From what I understand, we can still sit up top as long as no one has the shield. This means the oracles will be easy. For the templar, we can do that strategy that I posted last week with everyone up top except the shield guy. Since I have the most defense, I can do the shield. I'll run around and bash adds to build super energy, you guys take care of oracles that might pop, and then I can use my super very often to take him down quickly.

1.  Never thought about going that far up on the left side during the conflux phase.  Will have to do that.  Will be an excellent spot for scout rifle + void fusion rifle.

2.  Never realized that you don't have to kill everything during the in-between phases on the confluxes.

3.  Hadn't thought about just having the relic holder going down there solo.  I thought there would be too many adds for it to be effective.

Yeah during the in-between stages, things are a little different now since you can't jump over to the islands like I used to. The easiest way now is to hop in the spirit bloom room but you have to be careful to not kill those fanatics under the hole, otherwise it can be difficult to jump out of there without getting marked.

Btw did the hotfix even pop up today? I never got an installation notice and havent seen any news about it on the bungie site

Haven't seen any news of it happening yet..and that will be all over the place on the Destiny reddit page.  I'd be happy if we could get the raid going before the hotfix even doing it properly on Atheon (just using the 3 person in the back strategy).

Can't wait to complete hard mode but switching back to normal tonight was definitely the right choice.  2 hours at one checkpoint on hard was just too much.  The connection issues plus the mysteriously disappearing enemies just killed it.

The damage disparity between level 29 and 30 is crazy.

Breezed through normal after that hard mode try.  That one level makes such a huge difference.

Anyone any closer to 30? I would love to get another run going sometime

I'm 29 now with a fully upgraded raid auto rifle(cant think of the name).

Just need the gloves..

Anyone wanna do a quick normal run tonight to hopefully stock up on some gear? If we're quick, we could even do two runs for multiple characters

Did VoG HM Oracle (got 2 pair of gloves... f me), and Templar. So I have the Gatekeeper checkpoint, if you guys want to try and knock out the last 2 bosses sometime this week. We should be fine with only 2 30's. I Could do it Thursday night or anytime Sunday. Anyone interested?

Definitely interested since I would still like to get lucky enough to get the helmet but work might keep me away on Thursday.  Either way feel free to send me a message if you get a run going and I'll see about getting on if I'm around.

Original plan was to join up with you guys tonight, but it's been a long week at work already and I'm worn out and just don't feel like playing tonight.  First time I've had zero interest in playing.  Just tired.

Finally got my Mythoclast!!!

Plus I got Praedyth's Timepiece (never seen that before in all the times I've done the HM raids) AND Seaver got 30 so we got another HM buddy! Awesome night

That was awesome, Grats Giraffe! I got the MIDA Multi-tool, and a chest piece. Can't see me ever using the multi-tool, just gonna wait for the VoC.
