PS4 Raid Run
Tonight marked the first night we were able to get the PS4 crew all together and attempt the Raid. PS4 crew consisted of Panzer, Apex, Puppet, Evol, Kenny and myself. We were able to make it to the Templar boss before calling it a night. It was a good run but we ran into a problem finishing off the Templar. We did surprisingly well for our first time but need to work on our Templar strat. We hope to reconvene on Sunday and give it another go. I'll post up more if we can all get back on to give it another go.
Great job tonight guys. I know the end was a little frustrating but I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who showed up and gave it their all. Great first effort and I have a good plan for our next encounter with the Templar. B!tch is going down.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
It's a blast right? Xbox side is having some problems with the raid too. We keep having more than 6 people on and have to run it 2-3x to get everyone in.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
I can't wait until enough of us hit level 29 - trying it on Hard would be viable then. Granted that 30% damage reduction will be rough.
I think we could beat it right now with 30% less damage, so the hard part will be taking the extra damage from the level 30 adds.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
The hard part would be taking the damage with no revives lol
Back on topic though, you guys will get the hang of it quickly. The hardest part about the raid is not the bosses or enemies, it really just comes down to trial and error and making sure everyone handles their particular role. Once all the members become comfortable with whatever their job is and are communicating properly, everything becomes easy.

Definitely true. 1 person getting distracted or going to the wrong place, ignoring a critical place, and everyone wipes.S7 Hellogiraffe wrote:The hard part would be taking the damage with no revives lol

Re: PS4 Raid Run
Or starting to nod off and repeatedly walking off the board for the Templar fight. Long day yesterday, sorry about that at the end of the night guys. Mentioned to my wife that we started the raid last night and are going to try to finish on Sunday around 4pm EST. No definite commitment from me but I'm seeing what I can do.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
Most of us got back on and finish it tonight. Kenny, Apex, Panzer and myself. We were joined by the new guy Pacifist and a random we picked up. Great teamwork and now I have a solid strat for the full Raid. Good job tonight guys.
And don't worry Puppet and Evol. Sunday plan is still intact to run with you guys. Can't wait to get in there again.
I'll post up the screen shots for day 1 tomorrow.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
Update for my raid team. I hit 26 and got my first exotic. I might even get to 27 if I sink enough time in today. My question is I ahould probaly get myself a pulse sniper so if anyone knows a good plan on doing that let me know. still need those d@mn shards.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
Keep working on the Vanguard bounties. I just got to lvl 3 in Vanguard and got a legendary scout rifle as a reward. As for a legendary sniper, you can keep running Queens bounties and then Queens missions in hopes that you'll get one of the legendary snipers. They're random drop but the percentages seem to be more in favor of the chest or head pieces.

I'm not sure what the queen missions are. I see them at the bounty board but that's all I know.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
They give legendary gear, and are just story missions with modifiers, which makes them easier to be honest. Most common rewards are Helmet and Chest pieces.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
Yeah, you need to pick up a bounty and complete it. Once you turn it in, you can then launch a queens mission. Queens missions give legendary gear. Easiest way to get legendary gear. You can get two pieces in no time.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
If I get a chance to get on and Evol is on I wouldn't mind making a run to finish the raid since the other 4 cleaned it up already. Otherwise, I'll probably be looking for some bros to run the weekly heroic. I thought I had done it but it's still listing rewards so I'd like to give it a go.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
We had 5 S7 bros to finish it out, but Evol dropped so we picked up two guys Kenny had played with in the past. I was like a quadrapilgic being drug along most of the time, but was finally able to get my stuff together and we finished it.
Thanks Kenny, Panzer & Zak for getting me thru this. I think the discussion we had afterwards created some good new ideas and helped to clarify roles for future runs. Got some good loot too: exotic launcher (Gjallarhorn), legendary machine gun (Corrective Action), legendary arm band, white raid shader, and enough shards to fully upgrade my exotic helm. Now I'm just 1 light point from 28.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
I got chosen for babysitting duty so I don't know when I will be able to raid tonight. Honestly I am probably more avalible to do it during the week after my son goes to bed.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
I wasn't able to make it either, daughter woke up from her nap early and so we were doing some house cleaning. Like I said to Zak, I work later in the day on Tues and Thurs, so I could probably try the whole thing again or pick up where we left off on Mon or Wed night as long as we don't start too late.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
No worries Evol. I have made three runs this week and continue to refine my strat. We will start running the Raid early this week for those interested. I feel pretty confident we can run the whole thing now in under two hours now so it will not take a big time commitment this go round. My guess is first runs will go through either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on who is on.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
Not sure if I'll be on early enough Wednesday night to do a raid run unless we think we can cruise thru it. Going to dinner at 6:30 EST and probably won't be home until after 9pm. Depending upon how easily the kiddo goes down will determine when I'm on.
If I can't do the raid, I'll be looking to do the Nightfall and then probably the daily heroic and possibly the weekly heroic. I figure most of you will be done with the Nightfall and possibly the weekly but I'd appreciate some help if someone's free.

Re: PS4 Raid Run
Sounds good Puppet. You know I'll always run through that stuff anytime you need it. Also, I did not get on last night due to Internet problems at my house. I have a guy coming out this afternoon to check it out. Hopefully I'll be online tonight but I'm not sure yet.
