Activision Not Surprised By West And Zampella Joining EA
Here's the story about the guys that got let go from activision a few weeks back.
April 12, 2010 - Activision says it's not surprised by the news of former Infinity Ward founders Jason West and Vince Zampella joining rival publisher Electronic Arts since the two were fired last month.
Both West and Zampella announced this morning they have formed Respawn Entertainment, a new development studio that will have its games published though Electronic Arts through its EA Partners program.
Activision says this deal shouldn't be a shock to anyone given the details found in Friday's countersuit of the two allegedly taking secret trips to meet with competing publishers while still under contract.
"This agreement comes as no surprise to Activision given the myriad of improper activities detailed in the cross-complaint filed on Friday against Jason West and Vince Zampella," an Activision representative told IGN. "We look forward to continuing to work with Infinity Ward's deep bench of proven talent on exciting new projects."
Both West and Zampella have yet to discuss details about their new project

Oh noooo! Their future game's multiplayer will be plaugued by the terrible EA server FAIL disease. Lol I hope they continue to be top dogs in the development business. Wow Activision is gonna milk the COD franchise dry...prepare for hastely made game from Sledgehammer Studios. Who knows maybe Treyarch will have a break through in game design and actually make Vietnam a noteworthy game...I'm highly doubting that.
