Good idea, but I can't see how they would let the guy who was in charge of protecting the murdered king represent the accused.

I would not be surprised to see the mountain come back into play as they will try to find the toughest person that they can.

Well, they have presumably already sent for him to come to King's Landing due to the deal Tywin made with the Prince of Dorn.  If they choose the Mountain as the champion I can almost guarantee that Prince Oreryn takes up for Tyrion.  That would be epic.

EDIT: or vice versa.  Oberyn takes up for Tyrion and then the Mountain is announced!  Either way would be sic.

Yup. This show just gets better and better. We shall see how many episodes we have to wait till the fight actually happens.

Very true.  I hope so but feel we will be teased with it. Maybe a reveal of who will fight and then let the fight begin/ end episode to be continued in the next one. Either way I'm pumped for Sundays episode.

Yeah, I am betting we get to see it next episode but last night was still amazing.  Arya/Hound stuff is always sooooo good, no matter how little we get to see them.  I also like what Dany is doing too.  Getting her sh1t together before she rushes in to Westerous.  And Littler finger continues to become actually interesting.  Now if we could just do something with Sansa's character lol.  And that scene with Oberyn and Tyrion was great too.  Just a great episode overall.

EDIT: Oh I almost forgot the scene with Breanne and Podrick.  I love that we got to see the fat kid again, and he was useful.  Very well written series.

Sons a bitches. There are only a few episodes left so I guess they will stretch it. Did anyone notice new guy as the mountain even more intimidating. I would be shocked if he loses should be a good fight. Little finger was epic I'm glad he shut that b1tch up. I couldn't stand her when Tyrian was on trial to go out the moon door.  Sansa is hopefully going to be a bit more intresting next season. Arya was bad ass once again. Is he on your little list no he cat be I don't know his name. Whats your name. Shank you very much. No Bran and Hodor though during this one.

Oh yeah, cause "Hot Pie" is a better name than "Fat Kid" lol.  But seeing as that is his actual name I will refer to him properly from here on out.

Honestly I don't think there will ever be a better character name than a fat kid cooking pies named "Hot Pie"...it's freakin genius is what it is.

I think Oberyn gets the win.  He's fighting for justice and his family, Gregor is fighting for money and possibly to have his status restored.   I think Gregor will try to power thru the prince and will be a little "reckless" in his attacks where Oberyn will be methodical and will wear the mountain down like Braun said he would have to do.  

Also, from the coming attractions it looks like Oberyn uses a quarterstaff and with his speed he could repeatedly rain down blows on the mountain until he wears him down.  Doesn't matter how much of a brute you are, trying to quickly and repeatedly slice and dice a man with a zweihander will wear you down.

I vote Oberyn.
