Re: iPhone apps
Oh yeah. How is Lara Croft on the iPhone. I never did grab it on XBL and was considering it for my iPad. Just a little worried about the controls. Let me know if you can. Thanks Garret.

Re: iPhone apps
Probably grabbing Lara Croft last, if at all. Gotta play the hell out of Aralon, NOVA 2, Shadow Guardian, Real Racing 2, Eternal Legacy, and Dungeon Hunter 2 first.
I checked out some video on Dungeon Defenders and daaaaamn it looks awesome. It's coming to XBLA in January too. The only problem is that it is 4.2 only, and that FW isn't jailbroken yet so I won't be able to play it probably until Christmas.

Re: iPhone apps
Aralon is AMAZING!!!!! I thought Infinity Blade was addicting but it's nothing compared to this game so far. I feel like I'm playing Oblivion on my phone It's a must-have for RPG fans. Huge open world, tons of gear, spells, abilities, enemies, quests, crafting, .....omg omg omg
Re: iPhone apps
Ok so I've put a few hours into Aralon and it really changed my opinion on the game: it's even better than I thought it was. I hadn't really gotten far in my last post and only saw the starting village and a little bit of wilderness, but now that I've been dungeon crawling, taking out bosses, finding hidden treasures, etc WOW this game is unbelievable. The world is absolutely huge for an iPhone game, it's actually bigger than some console RPGs I've played.
Aralon is a MUST-HAVE for any RPG fan and really for anyone who just wants to show off to friends. This is not a quick time-waster, this is a full console experience on a phone.

Here's a review of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light:

By the way, how are you liking Aralon? I put a couple more hours into it today and it still isn't getting old.

Re: iPhone apps
So I just capped out everything in Infinity Blade....all weapons, armor, rings, helms, and shields and now I'm stuck at level 40. Time to download the update and get level 45. Actually, I gotta get back to Aralon first
Re: iPhone apps
Since ordering my ipad and starting to "pay more attention" to the whole app world...I've heard a lot about these two games (Aralon and Infinity Blade). I guess I should download them and give them a whirl. But first, I need to download Rage HD...that maybe the greatest of them all according to critics.

Greatest looking: sure.
Greatest game: not even close.
It's got really good graphics and fairly fun to play, but it's very short with little reason to beat again. Plus it's a rail shooter so you can't even move around. I don't know what critics you've been checking out but my most trusted sources (TouchArcade, IGN, Joystiq/TUAW) all liked Infinity Blade and Aralon more, except for IGN which doesn't seem to know Aralon exists.
Actually, I just saw this on TA today:
http://toucharcade.com/2010/12/27/forums-goty/
The TA forums are by a mile my favorite place to go to for reviews, and they have Aralon as their GOTY, followed by Infinity Blade and Real Racing 2.
