According to a statement confirmed by Microsoft, the Xbox One Headset Adapter that enables the use of third party audio accessories will ship early next year, leaving early adopters to make due with the official pack-ins. Redmond says it'll use the spare time to help manufactures "create new headsets that will take full advantage of the Xbox One technology,"

I wonder if this is the real reason the XBO is getting the pack in headset? They really need to get on the ball and have this out early as possible.

I think we will see there adapter on or. Ear launch so they want to make money on that first. But remember the 360 didn't launch wit hood head phones. We have gotten use to having them that you would think they would be on the ball.
