Twitch app to xbox

Twich app is out now on the Xbox not sure if it is just for watching or there will be any ability to stream from it.

From what I've seen, there won't be any streaming. You'd only be able to watch a select group of videos. Hopefully streaming will come along sometime down the road. Being able to stream without any sort of capture device would be neat.

Yeah it would but they would have to enable background app functions like on an iOS or android device.

I would expect that to be a part of the 720. Or at least video capture for a short period of time. That feature is already confirmed on the PS4, up to 30 mins I think, so I would be surprised if it's not on the 720 also. Streaming is just the next step.

streaming FTW i know ps4 is doing ustream so it would be smart for twitch to team up with xbox..



as far as being able to stream with out a capture card i think it would be win just pay a small fee and stream !

That's awesome. I'd really like to be able to watch stuff like the LoL LCS games on my xbox.
