Revolution tv show
They have been showing commerials for this show during the Olympics. It looks like it has some promise to be a good show.

Re: Revolution tv show
I agree. Will definitely check it out. Hope it turns out to be a lot better than Terra Nova was. That was the last show that I was fairly excited about seeing and it turned out to be pretty lame.

It will be interesting to see exactly what the premise of the show is but it does look pretty good.

Re: Revolution tv show
Looks different - I loved Lost, and I liked Terra Nova too even if it was cheesy. I think one will have to suspend their logical thinking to really enjoy this one - the premise just doesn't make much sense to me.

Start watching prime time Olympic coverage, NBC is showing trailers for it almost every other commercial.

I've watched the first 2 episodes so far and the plot is intriguing enough to make me want to keep watching, but these sorts of shows seem to drag on WAY too long for me to keep interest.

Re: Revolution tv show
To me these are they types of show I would get into and then it's canceled. I have them on my DVR, and if in a few weeks it's determined a hit, I may start watching them. I wish I would have done that with Grimm last year.

I watched the first two episodes and liked what I saw. Not great but I think it has potential. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the season and see where it goes.

Re: Revolution tv show
My review after 2 episodes:
I've watched the first 2 episodes and I'm really not impressed. Interesting idea for the story (I'm always a fan of anything post breakdown of civilization) but there are things that bother me about. As always with tv, everyone on the show looks like they were cast off of americas top model. Everyone is too good looking, too clean and have perfect hair. Don't you think some people would have dirt on their faces or have tattered clothes. The acting is way too melodramatic. I feel like I'm watching a soap opera. The fight scenes seem staged and choregraphed (not that they shouldn't be) but that is not the first thing I should think about when watching. Maybe I'm being too picky. Regardless I'm still curious as to why the power went out.

Well, to be fair there is a 0% chance that anyone would watch True Blood if you had a bunch of trolls for the cast.

LOL! And sometimes you get the opposite effect. Like in Waterworld, why the hell is everybody so dirty? There is no dirt! The entire planet is basically water!

Very true, but just like that show (I quit watching True Blood halfway through the first season) that only goes so far. In the end it's the story that gets me to come back, not the hot chick. There are plenty more outlets I can go to if I want to see hot chicks, lol.
