Anyone having a problem dropping from server?
I was having some internet problems... supposedly it got fixed. I played yesterday for a couple hours no problem....got into a party and started dropping from server. Just checking to see maybe it was the host or they didn't fix the problem.

It can be touch and go. Sometime I have problem dropping from the servers too. I would guess it is a server problem and not your connection.

We had the problem on Friday where it took us like 15 tries to get everyone in the party into a game because people kept dropping before getting into the lobby (mainly me that was dropping lol).

192.168.1.1 ---> Is probably yours.
Ports to open:
53 Both
80 TCP
88 UDP
3074 Both
Super condensed version: Go to your routers login (probably 192.168.1.1), navigate to the tab with the Port settings. Enter the above listed ports, and save.

Maybe I'll walk you through it over the Xbox. I think it would be a lot easier that way. But first, on your Xbox, go to System > Network settings and test your connection and let me know if something pops up regarding your NAT.

That. I mainly wanted to post the Ports XBL uses.

Re: Anyone having a problem dropping from server?
My new netgear router has a box to check that says "Open NAT." I did that instead of opening individual ports with port forwarding. Seems to be working just fine - I guess technically I have made my other PCs vulnerable, but they all have firewalls and good anti virus/malware.
As for doing it the old fashioned way, there is a sticky in the Tech forum: https://sacredseven.forumotion.net/t1790-opening-your-nat
But that one only says 88 UDP and 3074 both. Is that a typo on your post Atrum where you mention port 80? And 53? Never heard about messing with those two.

Just checked xbox.com today and that's what they have listed on there.

Re: Anyone having a problem dropping from server?
When I'm on maybe you guys can walk me through it. I played Battlefield last night and it ran very smooth....downloaded the update and it only took me 15-mins.....that tells me it was the GR servers. I would still like to optimize my xbox though so I'll hit xpert or atrum up when I see them online....thanks guys
