Gamestop Problem....

Well about 2 months ago I when in and put $40 dollars on COD:BO the none hardened addition. Today I walked in asked if I could transfer the funds over to a hardened purchase with the response they have no hardened copies left for sale. Do you guys have any suggestions on what to do? I was thinking of just getting the regular version and buying the old zombie maps, but would this cost me more?

Cancel the preorder and buy it at another store? lol

The $40 was games I traded in....

still it shows 40bucks on there computer they cant tell it was trade in credit .. and after that i would say walmart should have alot of copy plus little to no lines

yeah walmart the same thing happened to me but i only had 5 so i went to walmart and they said they will have sh1t loads but just to be sure i went to a place called play in trade its like game stop and ordered my from there but walmart will have crazy amount of black ops lol

ok ill get the money from gamestop tomorrow to bad because I wanted to not us money out of my own pocket. I was going to trade CODMW2 and SWTFU2 so I might not have to pay for it. WALMART HEAR I COME

Yup, for some reason everyone goes to gamestop for new games. When Reach launched there were a couple hundred people lined up at gamestop and 4-5 people that were waiting at the walmart electronics section here (Super walmart - 24 hours)

Just a heads up u can resale swtfu2 @ amazon for $33 & you can get $16 for codmw2 for a total off $49 idk what gamestop will give ya for them but it's prob <$

Yep they pay for the shipping if you trade in enough, you just print off the prepaid ups label tape it in the box and drop it off at ups, it does take 7-10 days for you to get your amazon credit , they dont send cash I don't think, toys r us has the same rates most of the time and you get a gift card, gamestop never gives ya enough $ plus you don't play tax at amazon so the games always 6 bucks cheaper

I when to game stop a second ago and they knew it was store credit..... grrr ill still be going to Wal-mart.

I'm sure there we well over 300 at my GameStop last night, but I was out of there in about 15 minuites. I would say the line cleared in 30. It doesn't take as long as you thing to scan one item and pay. Less than a minuite per person, per register.

Saw this with H3 - a hundreds lined up at the gamestop right beside walmart - walked in Walmart and bought the second tier edition with no wait at midnight and the gamestop line hadn't moved that I could tell. Unfortunately, this time I put in the reservation at gamestop for a regular copy so I'll have to buy any DLC - didn't realize hardened came with more maps...

Yeah I'm going to Wal-mart after school to see if they have a hardened copy left if not ill just buy the regular addition over at game stop because I have like $37 of credit on my card for canceling my purchase.

Wow I just walked up the counter waited for the in front of me to be finished then purchased mine. No line ups on problem, cash and carry.

HaHa...I had a sh*tload of people in front of me. I was around 380th in line at midnight. But the lines were fast, people were in and out. I was out in 20 mins. tops.

I would say I was probably the 100th or so person in line. So I got my copy fairly quick didn't get the hardened edition. So I'll be buying the dlc which is fine by me

Funny when the clerk turned to me the only question was, PS3 or Xbox lol.

Picking mine up after work...I was on baby watch last night while wifey slept...so (sigh), I hope to be on this evening around 10 or so...

WHAT? Klown at a midnight release. Wow, the bug bit you too lol. I was tempted too but ended up picking mine up about a couple of hours ago. I pre-ordered the Hardened Edition. I'm going to be on after work tonight.
