Nah the Sam Smiths beer is from the UK.
The Left Hand is out of Colorado.
You should be able to pick up both at your local store. Both are great Stouts.

The 21-year old Jefferson President Select is Pappy van winkle with a different brand. You can google around, but that's a much cheaper version than going black market.

Re: Favorite beer
Jefferson select is similar but not the same. It is from the
Stitzel-Weller distillery as Pappy Van Winkle did. Jefferson’s Presidential Select is an older bourbon nestled right between two Pappy releases. The Jefferson’s Presidential Select would most closely resemble the Pappy Van Winkle 15 or 20 year. JPS is lacking in some of the complexity you get in Pappy, probably due to the fact the the Van Winkles get their pick of the “honey” barrels, but still packs the heavy wood punch you expect from older bourbons. Jefferson’s has since released a 21 and 25 year old bourbon. The JPS 21 & 25 are rye based mashbills and different than the wheat mashbill used in Pappy Van Winkle and Jefferson’s Presidential Select.
But not really the same.

Re: Favorite beer
I hear you on the strict calories Atrum once I get back home and on schedule I'll be back on my 1800-2000 calorie way of life going to the gym 5 days a week. It's been a great few days of not having to count calories of enter food into my fitness pal. But still seriously if anyone can get their hands on a bottle of Pappy's let me know my brother is looking and is willing to spend decent money for it. Have of the deal with bourbon is the legend and the chase to find a bottle.

Re: Favorite beer
Had some delicious founders breakfast stout tonight. I've never really been into that type of beer but it's really good. Not heavy like other scouts I've had and it's got a good apv so it's got a nice kick. Great holiday beer. OK Matt go run out and buy some. Lol.

Re: Favorite beer
I prefer mildly dark beers with bold taste. My #1 goes to a local brewer called Schells, thier deer brand beer is godly.
Also a Belgian ale called Fatty boomblatty, Red stripe is always good, Anything by Premium/ grain belt, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Lieneys Summer shandy, and thier a dark miller brew I believe with a black label and high ABV.
