S7R Forza 4 A-Class Tourney - Season 1

Despite a disappointing 9 drivers fought for the B Class title. Thursday's tourney also marked the return of Chippy to S7 Forza competition. With 3 events remaining, the battle for the season title is heating up and every position is still up for grabs.

Now, its on to the S7R Forza 4 A-Class Tourney - Season 1. It's time to get to work and start building/tuning your A-Class Cars.

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday, April 26 2012 New Race Date: Thursday May 10th
Time: Racing starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time
Car Class: A-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Always On
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - Player based
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length, races to last roughly 10 minutes each)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the A-Class Champion for Season 1. Your overall placement will go towards your season standing and results will be added to the Official S7 Forza Stats Thread. Forza: All Time Stats

PRIZES: Trophy in the Official Trophy Case

NOTE: I know there was a question about the date of an upcoming tourney... couldn't remember if it was thing one.... so reminder...

26th should be the correct date. Last week was the B-class so this week (19th) would be the off week and next week (26th) would be race day. I forgot, what was the last class for this season, S or an R class?

There was a discussion last week about needing to possibly change the date of an upcoming tourney.... so you shouldnt know what i'm talking about...

R3 - BUT the cars have to be upgraded street cars... (They can't be a "#" car)

Yes, I am the one who has a conflict with the 26th. My oldest son as a baseball game starting at 7pm eastern. It should be over by around 9pm if you guys want to start a little late. They are usually about 2 hours or less but sometimes they do run over to as late as 9:30pm.

If we could either push it back or start late I would really appreciate it. I already have a car made and I really don't want to miss this one but I will leave it up to you guys.

Very nice car Zak not only is that a great paint job but I set drove it and it flys off the line and is a great ride overall

Oh I thought it was tonight.

So the Ferrari GTO is much better now that I converted back to RWD. The AWD made it very sluggish. I'm thinking it is now quicker and handles better than my Spyker, but I need to do a little more testing.

That is what next Wednesday is perfect for. Test out those A-Class Cars before the Tourney on Thursday.

Fun time last night. We had some rough patches in a couple races and it sounds like some people are already calling eachother out on the next LNS event that we run but all in all it was a good time. The last track last night was some of the most fun I've had in an event. Xpert, racecar and I had some good, clean racing for the last three or four laps of the night and I would have had the both of them if I didn't run a little loose and catch a turn too wide. Oh, and thanks racecar for t-boning Xpert so that I could catch up and get in the mix with you guys

Lol, anytime, the more the merrier I always say. I found out real quick Xpert braked a lot sooner than I did (plus turned sideways at the same time), and after that I just tried to finish without causing anymore damage

Wish I could have been there, got stuck at work until about 10:30 EST.
