S7R Forza 4 E-Class Tourney - Season 1

It really doesn't have much top end speed and the launch doesn't seem to be as good as it's rated but with the AWD setup it handles like it's glued to the track and will accelerate out of corners pretty well. I should be able to be middle of the pack on tracks that have more curves than long straights but anything with a decent spot to open up the throttle will probably allow other cars to leave me behind. We'll see though. This will most likely be what I'll run but I'm toying around with some other cars to see if I find anything else that I like.

Yeah. i did the same with mine. but since you are using one i'll pick a different car. i have three others im comparing.

You can still use the Pinto, there's nothing that says we all can't use the same car. Every once in a while two or more people will use the same car, especially with the lower level cars where there's not as much to work with.

I'm using the '65 AR GTA. It's a beast! Tuned n ready! Didn't spend forever on the paint, not yet at least. May keep messing with it.

Ok so I pieced together another ride last night that I'm going to try out first in the tourney. It seems to be almost as good as my Pinto and I'll probably run it unless it really sucks, in which case I'll go back to running the Pinto.

I know you have a Chevy Spark made. I have seen it on the leaderboards. Hopefully you'll roll with something more respectable for the Tourney

On a related note, I am really stoked for the Tourney tonight. I can't wait to see who all shows up, what car they officially bring and how they all stack up in a real race. This is going to be one of the best Tourneys yet.

I have an Aygo and a C1 ready. I'm having trouble deciding which is best. Both lap consistently, the Aygo feels like it's on rails and has a higher top-end than the C1, yet the C1 has better times. I'll to do some more testing, as the times could just be a result of me getting better at the tracks. I think it might end up coming down to launch.

I have a Civic too, though there are only two tracks where I would use it.

I've got my 'Murican Muscle Pinto and a C1 that I'm going back and forth on. Most likely I'll use one of these, although I do have a couple others to fall back on in the garage if needed.

Sounds like it's going to be a field of c1's lol

My TROLL-tastic car

Had a great time tonight. I was really surprised how clean the races were, for the most part. Kinda sucks that Wiggles and I got our cars destroyed in the last race and were pretty much out of things from the start but other than that everything was fun. Good to see a mix of the new guys and the vets. The new point system is interesting, I'm not used to having all those points.

@ Wiggles - How do you get the troll graphic into forza to put it on you car? I've seen pix and things that couldn't be drawn in the game on cars but I can't figure out how to upload pix/graphics. Everything I've seen says it's not possible but that's obviously not true.

Somebody more talented than Wiggles does indeed make them in Forza. They're not uploaded or anything like that.

Seems kinda garbage that you can't upload pix and graphics into the game. Oh well.

Back on topic: I had a great time last night. The races were really clean for the most part. Only a few really bad wreaks and most of them were NOT in the first corner but somewhere randomly down the track. And there were several times that I was in a pack of like 6 guys and no one wreaked! Even 2-3 wide on the track. It was impressive and a ton of fun.

Also, props to the new guys. Many of you have not raced with us before and you all did very well. I was very impressed with the quality of the races, especially with 13 total cars on the field. Thanks to everyone.

Now it's time to get ready for the D-Class Tourney. You have 2 weeks so get crackin'. I'll make an official post in a few days.
