Star Trek Online goes free to play

Just thought i would bring this up here as I still play the game regularly.

The game has come along nicely since launch. Better looking sector space, completely redone ground combat, and the are currently in the middle of remastering the end game comabat with more gear sets for both space and ground.

A new department head and first officer system is also in pipeline along with some other cool stuff.

As I said I play a lot still (bought a lifetime sub before launch) so if you are interested hit me up some time. My user @handle is Zalacious.

I will be able to play till about 10om pacific time and then MAYBE late night. Heh, I still show an active friend request pending for you Sticky. I am about to meet up with the gf for lunch I should be back at about an hour and half or so from the time of this posting.

The game has gotten a lot better, but there is still much to be done. At end game all I do is pvp. I do have one alt at low level and might start another one. There is in game voice chat now but I current have it disabled. I tend to be on my fleets TS server.

Yep, just saw confirmation that this has yet to go into effect. I will post again when the change has gone live. Sorry for jumping the gun.
