Kmart has portal 2 on sale starting 5/1. They haven't said how long it will be cheap, so if you're on the fence, go get it asap.

I think it still might be overpriced at that...I heard the single player was at most 5-6 hrs. I would hope the co-op would be that long or longer.

Of course I havent played it but I have heard from more than one site that it was Game of the Year material.

Maybe you could do 5-6 hours on your section play through. If you haven't played the first portal, I would say 10-12 hours. With playing the first (3 times!) it still took me a good 8+ hours, and I would guess 8-10 for most. I haven't done the Co-op yet, but just the single player was so epic I would also say GOTY candidate.

Yeah keeping in mind Coop continues where single player ends that's a decent amount of game time. The fun part of the first portal was playing through it more than once anyway.

GOTY in my opinion will be SKYRIM!!!!!!. Sure portal 2 is probably awesome, but when is an elderscrolls game not a game of the year?

Also, in portal 2 do you play as the character from the 1st game or do you play as the robots they showed on the commercial?

Both. Single player is the girl from the first game and Co-Op is the robots. AMAZING game btw. Rental for sure and easily worth $40.00 for those looking to buy and support the developers. Either way, everyone should play it.
