Luckily, some random people sold us their tickets for cheaper than the normal price since their friends bailed last minute, and they even let us sit in their saved seats! Amazing movie, especially in IMAX 3D. I was worried it was going to be too Disney but I was quickly proved wrong.

Funderwhack dance FTW!!!

Just got back from seeing it as well. I knew it was going to be good and I was not disappointed. Was going to go play soem star trek online but its down for patching, go figure. Guess I could go to sleep but where is the fun in that.

Well I am still up blocking traffic and typing ony iPhone you hard earned tax dollars at work. Sometimes I can't believe they pay me as much as they do to block traffic from going down a road that is closed. But I have been up all night.

Just got done with a 20 min chat session with At&t tech support as I am having some network issues. Went through all the hoops and usual questions only for her to fail and be unable to create a ticket and escalate and issue to the broadband assuarance team, what ever the hell that is. Do they assure me it is working as intended......

Seriously thinking about switching providers for my internet.

It should arrive tomorrow hopefully. Then i'll hammer out some work during the day, so that I have some spare time for CS in the evening, plus, i'm skipping tomorrows lecture so I can play for a while. Can maybe play pre-MW2 or post-, either way. It's all good.

Nah man, going to get my life back. I dumped too much time into WoW. Picked up my reading list again, going to start playing Arkham Horror with a friend of mine. I'm going tonight to a DnD meetup at the local hobby shop to see if I can get in a party.

Most of all, SLEEP. We had a 4.5 earthquake and I live at the city which was the epicenter. d@mn thing scared me awake lol.

I'm cultured in mainly 3e and 3.5e. I've never actually played it myself, but I know a lot about it from reading books and following a couple DMs.

I don't know what they are going to play at the shop tonight. I'm banking on 4e since I've heard it is easier to teach, mechanic wise, but I kind of hope that they play 3.5e instead, since I know that better.

Debating on being a cleric class or a fighter.

I'm lawful good, Deity is Melora, goddess of nature ("From rivers to whirlpools"), and I'm a half-elf.

I was trying to construct my own Goddess named 'Leira', but I couldn't come up with a background quick enough.

My 'Noble Steed' is a cow named Bessy. I worked out a daily action where I can milk her and consuming the milk I feel "refreshed" (Can't be used in battle, twice daily action when the flask is empty, Any milk left over in the bottle after two half-days is considered inedible).

My sister is riding a chocobo lol.

Today our first quest involved investigating the disappearance of townspeople. We decided to sneak into the keep where we suspect the problem stems from and we disguised ourselves as cult members using garb we looted from cultists we encountered in the woods nearby. My sister (the Half-ling) had to stand on our dwarf's shoulders so they were tall enough not to look suspicious.

When we got into the keep we found a goblin barracks. My sister used a charisma check against the guard to get us into the barracks without a fight at the door.

This is the best part: Our "Rave Wizard" (Yes, rave as in 'dance party with techno/house music and glo-sticks') walked into the middle of the barracks, conjured his discoball of death into the air, which played music and got the goblins dancing. I walked from the hall into line of sight of the discoball and used a lance of faith spell on the discoball, which refracted and amplified the spell before beaming out to hit all the goblins. I rolled a natural 20 with high damage on 2d8 and crit all 7 goblins in the room to kill them.

OK, no offense Vision, but is this what you meant by "getting your life back"? Seems you traded one evil for another

I played for 3 hours tuesday in a beginner's group. Its not like I'm constantly hanging around the shop chatting it up and doing nothing but. I learned a lot in just 3 hours there.

Since, I've polished off a book, caught up on homework, started another book, and hung out with some friend's for St. Pattie's.

Paddy's day yesterday was awesome. Drinking from 1pm through to 6am. Got a written warning from the accommodation people due to the volume of our music... got our own back though by changing all the channels on the TVs in reception to porn. Got trapped in a lift for 10 minutes too.

Well Vision, those shorter races really can Impede a disguise.
also, it seems your DM likes to make you guys think, thus why he allows you to slightly modify rules, like the Rave Wizard.
Funny though how you guys like to think your way through the problem. Mostly with players in my group the solution comes down to stabbing, Burning, and looting whatever they can find.

BBF Lawyer plays D&D too. In fact, one of his characters is a monk who is in the Abyssal realm, who became possessed by a shadow demon. So he talks out loud to this shadow demon about things like Killing the other party members, and no other character can hear the demon talk back. So we all think he's just really crazy for a while.

and to those who think D&D is a waste. I disagree. It's so much fun to get a group of 5-7 people together and play. The funniest sh1t will happen, all while playing a game that still tops many electronic games... And last longer too! we have a campaign that ran for like 4 years. We all got to like 36'th level, actually ended up becoming gods, and we were about to go fight Orcus and Lolth.
Seriously though, unless your DM want's each player to have to read the sh1t out of the deity's and demigods book. It takes a lot of time to do a level up on a character over level 30 who just gained a few divine ranks...
