Lol, it's not hard. To get all the parts connected and stuff will take about an hour. The watercooling, however, you'll need to leak test for 24 hours...
It only takes long if you're modding the case or wrapping all the cables to improve airflow, etc. like I did with mine.

Re: PC build time (its DONE)
Take your time with the install to get it right the first time. Carefull with the order you go in as you can block access to a spot by installing a drive or something too early. Looks like a good list of parts - should make a beastly PC. Good luck!

Re: PC build time (its DONE)
The CPU part is one of the easiest. You just need to make sure to ground yourself and to handle the CPU as little as possible.
The heatsink can be a bit fiddly, depending on how it attaches but other than that, it's np.

Re: PC build time (its DONE)
sticky ya can do it all by yourself, fallow the directions that come on your motherboard and you will be fine. amd motherboards have a latch that clamps the cpu down, , fit it in the socket, it can only go in one way, look at the "Teeth" and clamp it down, put your thermal paste on top of it about the size of a quarter nad put the heatsink ontop via clamps or screws just screwit on until its tight. don't overtightn it. also just make sure you put the ram in the correct spots so that they can run in duel channel mode usually the ram spots are paired and colored the same on the motherboard. ram can only go in one way too look for the notch in the ram, one side is longer then the other and press them in firmly from both ends and use the ram clamps/tabs to set them.also pic the best spot for your hard drive to go in I would put it in the second to the last spot, for better air flow. I bulit my in this order motherboard to case, pcu-motherboard-heatsink-ram-dvd-hd-audio-graphics card. just take your time, and use zip ties for the cords, build it on a contertop with your shoes on and a short sleeve shirt(ground for static electricty) and you'll be fine

And remember, if something doesn't work, just kick it. That always seems to work.

Re: PC build time (its DONE)
Also, with the proc:
-Do not push hard ever. Bend a pin and it's dead.
-IF the thermal past is pre-applied just gently place it down and do not smear any areas off.
-If the thermal paste is not on apply it in an extremely thing layer. I use a credit card to smooth it over the whole thing.
When clipping the heat sink on, it will feel like you're pushing too hard. If the proc is positioned right, no worries there. Just make it click.

No wonder PCs are so expensive - it takes 7 people just to install the video card.AtrumX wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrVd0h7_Kms
