If we're now doing this on the 20th, what do you think to pre-releasing the tracks we'll be racing?

It's something i'd like to see in other tourneys down the line. 1 car, multiple tunes, rather than different cars.

Not sure. Originally we decided to keep the tracks under wraps until right before the Tourney. Then we randomly picked the tracks and posted them up so everyone would have a fair playing field. That way no one would know and therefore everyone would have the same chance.

It was thought that releasing the tracks early would allow some of our members an unfair advantage over some of the less active players. i.e. I might play every map over and over again leaving me very prepared while some of the others might not practice at all.

But I don't really care either way. What ever you guys decide is fine with me.

that way it does equal out more and no one can go buy the best tune out on the store front for set map

You can easily buy the tunes beforehand anyway. It was just a thought for those of us who tune our own cars.

We have a fair while 'til the tourney anyhow, so I guess people can just tune for the tracks we're likely to race.

That is what I do. I just give it an overall tune and race the same car for every track. In the time between now and the Tourney I will end up practicing on every track tweaking it here and there.

Need a bit of tuning advice....let me know when you're free 'Septor.

Well, what do you guys want to do about this? I personally have no problem waiting some more but I know that other members will have conflict coming up as well. The end of July and beginning of August are particularly problematic. Thoughts?
