S7 Forza 3 B-Class Tourney

It is time once again to kick it up a notch. We are moving forward with our ongoing S7 Forza Championship Series and things are really heating up. This time we will be moving onto B-Class. Here you will find even more cars to choose from and a much faster grade of car. Combine that with more tuning and upgrade options and you get a serious competition. B-Class cars are faster and require more skill than ever before. The previous Tourneys will prove as invaluable training as we head forward. This is also the last stop before we hit the big time and move into the final two Classes. This is gonna be a last and take some real skill to win. Do you have what it takes?

Also, by popular demand, we are extending the series to 7 races from here on out. Two more track but with less laps per track. We will also be adding some of the longer tracks to the list as well as cutting some of the shorter ones.

Drivers will have 2-weeks to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win the gold.

Here are the details:

Time:Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (Track will be announced in one week)
Car Class: B-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: TBA
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD
(depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the Champ.

PRIZES: TBA

so are we shortening the races a little with the addition of more? or could we maybe move qualifying up to 8 and racing starting at 8:30 perhaps?

As for moving up the time? Don't know. 8:30 has really worked well for my schedule. It gives us time to get the tracks picked and published before the Tourney as well as a brief warm up. But I think we can institute a 10-15 min window where if people are not online by 8:40 we start (instead of waiting till 9:00). What do you think?

As long as the races last a similar amount of time, there shouldn't really be a difference in time, despite the extra 2 races, since they'll be shorter.

Yeah, I'm with you. My favorite classes are the last 3 FTW! From here on out we are gonna have some real performance classes.

I don't really like the R classes. They handle too well, plus you can't really do much in the way of upgrades/tuning.

Neither do I. I never intended to run the Tourneys past S-Class.

I just realized this but I will not be able to make it thursday. Graduation night is thursday and I will be working again.

Aero kit...interesting. No idea what car i'm gonna go with. Might see if my Audi S5 is as competitive at B as it was at C...

I don't think that as a car it has the raw speed but it just suits my driving well, which, can make seconds of difference over a faster car.

Wonder if I can get the Reventon to a decent B...?

I have good news then. Due to scheduling conflicts of a few of our members the Tourney was been pushed back 1 week.

Important Note: The B-Class Tourney has been pushed back 1 week. The Tourney will now take place on Thursday, June 10, 2010. The starting time will remain the same (8:30pm Eastern).

Still not sure what i'm racing yet...was gonna reuse the S5 but I don't think it's as completive at B-Class, either that or I can't handle it as well. Either way, i'm thinking Porche....
