MW2 Inter-Clan Tourney

Droopy has come up with this great idea for a fast and fun tourney. Droopy and Tico have both offered to donate prizes for this tournament.

When: Saturday, 5-29-10, 9:00PM eastern
Registration starts at 8:30PM eastern (Be here at this time to get registered so that we can get everything setup)
First 18 players to register will be entered into the tournament.

Round One
Team Deathmatch 6v6 or 9v9, Total of 5 matches

Perk setups:
Marathon (Pro or Regular)
Stopping Power (Pro or Regular)
Steady Aim (Pro or Regular)
Copycat

Maps:
Scrapyard
Sub Base
Terminal
Favela
Karachi

Rules:
6v6 (Or whichever depending on number of participants), Top 6-8 players (3-4 from each team) will qualify for 2nd round.
Top players will be the 3-4 from each team with the total highest number of kills from all 5 matches.
No sniper rifles, noob tubes, missile launchers that can be aimed at people and commando.
Killstreaks will be disabled.
Rounds will be five minutes.

Bonus 1: Player with the highest kill/death ratio from all 5 matches picks the kill streak rewards for the players in the next round (all players will have the same killstreaks).
Bonus 2: Player with the lowest kill/death ratio from all matches picks the maps and red perk (cold blood ..etc) for the players in the next round.

Round Two
Free for all (5 matches)

Rules:
Same rules as above apply.
Matches will be five minutes.

Prizes:
1st prize: Player with the highest total kills for all five rounds wins - 1 yr xbox live subscription or 1600 msp (to be updated)
2nd place: Player with the 2nd highest total kills for all five rounds - 800 msp


UPDATE: We will be having two tourneys on Saturday. One will be at 9pm eastern and the 2nd will be at 1am eastern. For the 2nd tournament be sure to get in contact with droopy and for the first contact myself. The bonus prize has been eliminated since we are having 2 tournaments instead of one.

You may only win one prize total, if you won the first you can not win a prize in the second one . this keeps it fair to the people who could not make it to the first one .

Sweet! Glad you got a tourny go n, 8 (central) way to early for me, I won't be able to make it boo. I'll still put up the points maybe I can make it for round 2

That would most likely work best for me as I have to work the Senior Prom for my high school and will not be home till later.

I will be able to make the first one and maybe the second one remember if you are hosting glock I will not be able to connect to you but I plan on being there at a little before 830pm

I may turn up tot the earlier one, not too fussed about the free-for-all part though... Fairly sure I won't be attending the late one though, it's 6am for me and i'm watching the Formula 1 Grand Prix at 11am, so i'll need some sleep.

hey bros I ll be on xbl at around 11 eastern time might just have the box on or ill be playing mw2 warm up hit me up a message when the ufc over if you want n and we could wait on ya if where not full or if its cool with the peeps already there. I can also check xbl messages on my iphone so even if im not online hit me up.
