late night MW3 inner clan tourney

Hey guys I was thinking about having a Inner clan tourney this Friday or Sat night. I know D3 comes out on tuesday but was thinking GRFS comes out the next week so might be better to have it this weekend. Also the new 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 maps drop this tuesday. I'm gonna put a poll for the date and time.

I'm thinking the following,
3 or 2 round tourney
three game types
best of 3 or best of five matchs per game type

Also was thinking maybe just straight up S&D, dom, or a 2 vs 2 ladder type tourney double elimination on the new maps.

I would be down. My carpal tunnel might need a break from D3 by then.

I work early Saturday and Sunday this weekend so if I could play it would have to be kinda early on Friday or Saturday night. I'll keep an eye on the thread and I probably won't be more than a maybe at this point.

S&D or a 2 man team would be fun.

Well, it doesn't look like we are gonna have a lot of people turn out for a full on tourney. So just show up fri around midnight, and we call all decide on something. Mabye a 2 vs 2 or pwn the public challenge or a MVP contest.

Should be fun!

How did things turn out? I was too tired last night to play much, but there should have been enough for some 4 on 4, as we has several turn up late night. I did play some 1 on 1 on the new maps, and 1 v 1 Kill Confirmed is quite interesting.

well we played search best 2 out of 3 team1 vs team 2
team 1 was wonky, aircav, rowdy, and ryloth
team 2 was huckfinn, droppy, knightowl, and coolhand

team 1 won 2-0
search is kinda my weak point

then wee broke off into two rooms for a 2 vs 2 tdm tourney on three of the new maps, once you lost 2 matchs you were out.

1st round(a) was aircav and ryloth vs wonky and coolhand with aircav and ryloth taking the win 2-0

1st round (b) was rowdy and droppy vs knightowl and huck with rowdy and droopy winning 2-0, with one match being won by only 2 kills

2nd round was rowdy and droopy vs ryloth and aircav with rowy and droppy winning 2 to 1 with two maps being real close

losers braket coolhand and wonky vs huck and knightowl with wonky and coolhand winning

Sorry guys for the lack of organization on the event last night. I still had a blast and the 2 vs 2 is some tuff and exciting stuff. I did a random drawing for all that attended for a prize and huckfinn won. idk what the prize is gonna be yet since he already has a bottle opener and i dont wan to use a prize from the vault because of the ill organized event, my bad.
