finished the game

I totally agree with yall on listening to the coversations, especially on the missions like riding shotgun for Reyes etc. I do fast travel though using the stage coaches and campfire travel though. And I tend to gallup fast and often have to break hard and double back to random strangers on the road.

Finally Finished the other night. Got my 100% game completion achievment. Love this game. I think we are getting married. You are all invited to the wedding.

I got my 100 % completion last week... wow those last 1.6% was a pain in the rear.. I heard you ended up missing the same things I? did at the end Magus...

You have to make sure you complete all of the 20 bounty areas. It doesn't matter who the bounty is, it just matters where the bounty is. 20 different locations.

I've been hammering away at those bounties and think I've finished them all. I'm still just at 98.5% missing 1.5%. The only thing I know I'm missing is winning at five finger fillet in Torquemada. Is that the whole 1.5% do you think? Or am I missing something else as well... it's so hard to tell.

make sure all the side mission are done and all the bounty boards as well

All missions done, all strangers (18/18) done, all bounties done. All outfits unlocked except the one that requires the 5 finger fillet in Torquemada win. I can not seem to win at that.

I can't seem to reset the "American Appetite" (stranger quest) at hanging rock. I accepted long time ago and when I was at Hanging Rock and saw the kid tied up I simply cut him free. Probably should have taken him back to his mom, now this whole time since the beginning of the game I can't get the American Appetite icon off my screen, and can't go back to complete it... I've long since moved to Mexico

Of course, the only way to do so would be a complete data swipe and start over right??

Nope. I don't know who you untied but it wasn't the kid. You need to go back and look in that area again. You won't find the kid but you should find a clue as to what happened to him.

Turns out I missed a stranger. My stats tab says I have 18 but that includes "I Know You" which doesn't count toward the strangers. I missed "Water and Honesty." Going to get it now.

Got 100% at about midnight and went to bed happy! The link above was a huge help - check it out if you're stuck. I had done that stranger on my first play thru, but I restarted the single player after I was nearing the end of the story and my fame was still very low. I was like WTF then realized I had had my bandana mask on for most of the game... WOOPS! Good thing I love the game and was actually glad to have to replay it, but I fast traveled a lot more the second time through so no wonder I missed this guy as he hides in a mountain pass.

There is one stranger that is missable and you cannot go back... It's call "I Know You"... this does not count towards the 100%. Most likely if you are only missing that, then you are missing all of the "bounty hunter" locations.

Near the bottom of one of the stats sections it shows how many you have... It's broken down by region...
Your should have the following:
New Austin - 8
Neuva Paradiso (Mexico) - 8
West Elizabeth - 4

You can get bounty/wanted posters at the following locations:
New Austin - Armadillo, Rathskellar Fork, MacFarlane's Ranch
Neuva Paradiso - El Presidio, Escalera, Chuparosa
West Elizabeth - Blackwater

Check your stats and see if you have those numbers

Check for a pool of blood on a rock outcropping to the NNE of Hanging Rock near the edge of the map directly west of that circle road. You can see the rock outcropping on the map as a right-facing, faint Nike swoosh. Investigating there will find a sign of the kid and should move the quest on.

Also check back at the marshall's at Armadillo and you will sometimes see a different stranger there to further this quest.

Go by the armadillo's sheriffs office, later there will be another person there asking about their wife. The same thing happens, and you dont find any clues. After that go by the sheriff's office again ana a woman will be asking about her husband - then you get a conclusion.
