finished the game

just finished the game and i would give it a 9 out of 10

epic story/finish

i am at 95% complete so not bad did all that and only fell short by 5% ill finish that up later today

any one else done or almost done??

Yeah I finally rescued Princess Zelda and finished the game. I found the Water Temple to be the hardest level, I hate those iron boots and Dark Link is annoying as hell.

I'm 22 hrs in right now and only 46% complete. Just take you time and this game will last a solid 40+ before you get into MP.

but ya i can see if you take it slow and steady this game could be a 45+ hour game easy

Nope, I am just taking my time and enjoying the game. I have never fast traveled anywhere and I rarely ride at a full gallop. I take in the sight, stop to investigate interesting looking formations and even stopped for a few sunrises/sunsets. I just get lost in the game, which is easy to do in a game this good.

I catch myself just riding slow, enjoying the ride, listening to the full conversations, looking around. I really like this game a lot. I've only had it since Saturday evening, but it's really great. Caught myself on all night Sat/Sun morning. Started playing and when I looked outside it was daylight...WTF?

Sticky, if you're already completed it's like you rushed through so you could say you're done. Bet there are tons of things you overlooked, didn't see, or didn't hear. Like the town doctor in Armidillo can't cure "prick rot" because he's got it himself ....did you know that? LOL

Honestly, that's what the general store keeper told me as I bought medicine and bait to trap the cougars and bears for meat. Little things like that make it great. I spend more time getting the sharpshooter and survivalist challenges done too.

really i did not rush it i got into the story and could not put it down .. now i am at 99% over all complete got 2 more side mission i would have done everythign you can do

I don't think you ever get the full experience out of a Rockstar game by rushing through I learned my lesson in previous GTA's lol.

Worst part of the game thus far....

I helped Bonnie break the Stallion and she gave him to me (sorry if anyone hasn't done that), but I whistled for him and after I did I saw a bunch of rabbits. As I was taking out the rabbits in "dead eye slow motion" my horse ran directly in front of my double barreled shotty just as I fired. After I realized he was dead, I just pulled out the knife and skinned him for meat...LOL Gonna miss 'ol Pegasus!

Same happened to me, except it wasn't my horse, it was some woman I was saving from bandits. b1tch ran straight in front of the shot.

win. For the longest time anyone who came after me on a horse I would kill them and the horse and skin all the horses when the fighting was over.

Klown- FYI that horse is a Kentucky Saddler and you can buy the deed at any general store. After you buy it you can activate it (use it) and your horse will be back. Once you own it you can reactivate it any time your horse dies. Pegasus rides again!!!

I don't think this is a spoiler but... Now I want to finish this game as soon as possible. Riding for hours across the land looking for flowers (survivalist) or showing a boy how to kill defenseless Elk and driving cattle for 50 miles is not my idea of excitement. This game takes a serious nosedive later on.

Finished this up the other night, and went on to complete all the challenges so I could become "Legend of the West." I'll admit, I had to hit GameFAQs on a couple of the treasure locations. Heck, I was right next to one and just couldn't find it. And one of the master hunter quests about drove me crazy... seriously, they are running from me? I didn't do all the stranger quests either.

Game was good, and started off really great. It did have a little too much slow time in the late middle, that didn't excite me much. I mean, there are reasons why there are "shooting only" games, and reasons why there are not "drive cattle for 50 miles only" games.

I wasn't interested in the multiplayer at all, so I didn't log time there. The story was good, and cut scenes and dialog were well done.

Overall the game was very good with just a little bad pacing IMO. One everyone should play. B+
