Re: Music...what are you listening to?
I had this song stuck in my head the other day. No idea why. I haven't seen it or heard it in years...

Re: Music...what are you listening to?
That's funny, someone at my work was listening to that theme song on Monday. I, of course, sang along.

I was 50/50 on if you were posting the actual leak or a rick-roll.

Re: Music...what are you listening to?
The new Black Sabbath album has been streaming for free this week on iTunes (comes out next Tuesday the 11th).
https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/black-sabbath/id165907
I have listened to the new album about 10 times now. The first day I must have listened to to 4 or 5 times, and that's at the 1 hour run time. Seriously, I sat at the computer (surfing and playing D3 while listening) until about 1 in the morning. It's really incredible. To be honest, after the single "God is Dead" was released and watching the YouTube concert footage from the new album- I was getting a little worried. In the concerts Ozzy seems really "tired", and just didn't have the vocals there. Then again, it's all filmed with camera phones and have terrible sound, so it could be much better in person. Plus age has to be getting to him when touring and playing multiple gigs a week. And though I really like the single, it was a little to cliche and I thought lacking musically. It had the doom and gloom, the heretical language, the key change, and all that is expected from a Sabbath song. I just didn't think it had the "jamming" and instrument play I would expect, and even the solo was really brief. I still liked the song, but it's not going to knock off any of my earlier favorites from my top 10 or 20 list of Black Sabbath songs. Well, then the full album (normal 8 track album, not the extended deluxe version) started streaming on iTunes. OMG is it great. Seriously, God is Dead might be the 7th best song on the 8 track CD. When it streams it doesn't have any song tracks and is essentially one big hour long track, so I'm not sure what all the song titles are (plus where the songs break as many have the key changes in them makes it more confusing). This is definitely one album you will not skip any tracks on. It is still a little cliche with all the doom and gloom in every track (where is the stuff like Faries Wear Boots, Sweet Leaf, or Snowblind?) but man if it's not good stuff. I love the long tracks with Iommi just riffing and playing good hard guitar licks. The bass and Geezer still are a huge part of the rhythm as much as the drums. Just all around great music from true musicians. Plus, Ozzy sounds great. He still has it in the studio sessions, and sounds better then the last one or two solo albums. I'm loving it, and can't wait to get the deluxe Best Buy edition to hear the additional tracks as I just want more right now. Long time fans will like the way they close out the album. A little bit of and Easter egg/history there for the fans, but that effect will be a bit diminished on the deluxe versions as it's not really the last track. Go listen now!

The new album is great. I really like this song, particularly about the 4 min mark to the end just rocks.

Re: Music...what are you listening to?
My music taste changed about every month but here is what I am currently listening too. These are full albums if you are interested in any of it. I am not a big fan of listening to singles. Sometimes a song will catch my attention and I'll listen to it but if I start to listen to it enough I end up just checking out the whole album.
Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
Daft Punk - Human After All
Deadmau5 -
Major Lazer - Free the Universe
Lonely Island - The Wack Album
Deftones - Koi No Yokan(This is seriously some of the best music they have put out since Around the Fur)

Re: Music...what are you listening to?
Was at the show Saturday, and it was amazing. This is just one bit. Too bad the person filming didn't have abetter seat (and missed the beginning of the song) but it sounds good and you still get the feel for Slash's amazing skill. It was watching his hands as he played, as that was just insane. How his fingers don't end up in a carpel tunnel ball after the show, I don't know.
