So I figured I'd start a thread to post up some of the interesting planets/skies/creatures etc...  I'll try to find some interesting things and post them up here from time to time.  Feel free to join me and post up your own.

For starters, I present this lovely little nightmare...

Yeah it was a lovely little planet at night. Freezing temps, cheerful atmosphere and lots of aggressive animals attacking all the time. But there was lot's a rare (purple) minerals to mine so I stuck it out.

Space Odyssey - My journey to the center.

Here are a few shots I took the last few days as I journey closer to the center...

This game never stops amazing and impressing me with images like these. Some people have their quips with the game and I understand where they are coming from but if you just take a minute to look around the game can take your breath away.

More to follow on my journey to the center...

Looking good. I don't think the game has captured my attention the same way it did for you. I'll keep playing but it will be mixed in with a handful of other titles I'll be playing.

@ Puppet - I don't think it grabbed a lot of people like it did me.  I find something very relaxing in just touring the universe with my little ship and exploring planets.

Here are a few more pics for those interested...

Definitely relaxing, even when you're being attacked by pirates or critters.
