Ghost recon wildlands

I'm holding out on all other game purchases in preparation for ME: Andromeda.

Working....gig tonight. No Ghost Recon until the weekend

Maybe I should hang back a day or two and read the reviews before purchase myself.
I remember reviews for Division after launch

I'll be getting it later tonight.

BTW- I'm not a pilot either. I think Owl, OC, Coop, Droopy, and Glock can all fly. So we should be covered. I'll just stick to my parachute- lol.

Ya even though the game isn't what I wanted it to be I decided to bit the bullet to have a game to play with the guys. I flew the helicopter and the little plane just fine.

I can't fly for sh1t either, and I will always be a little behind most people on the progression of the story then most. Tico needs to be our chopper guy, I'll still be playing codif too, gonna hold off on mass effect till the summer when both cod and ghost gets boring

USPS jacked up shipping mine so I won't get to play until tonight. Really looking forward to playing.

played for about 4 hours today on the pc my god the game looks so sexy!!!!

Only played about an hour....pretty cool

Had a blast with it last night. That is until our pilot, OC, tried to fire the mini gun on our chopper but hit the wrong button and jumped out the helicopter. That left me and Glock to ride it down to our deaths. Also, OC hadn't unlocked the parachute yet- lol. Good times.

i will say playing this on the hardest setting is both fun and a pain in the PinkPony (and yes i used the word filter for that one )XD

I BEAT THE GAME IN JUST 4 MISSIONS (almost)!!!!!!  

OK, I'll explain. Was working on my 4th Itacua (?) mission (steal Carlito's sports car) when I stopped to do a side mission ... I believe it was the Steal the helicopter - Medical Supply Raid. After doing what I always do - use my snipers in synch shot to clean the area out - I jumped in the helo and flew it to the RV point. [I'm flying much better now but still shaky.]  Upon landing, the Mission Complete banner flashed and was immediately followed by another screen that said I had advanced to level 53 and I won an Achievement.  

In my normal state of confusion, I didn't believe what I saw even though the upper right corner showed my new level at 53. So I checked my Skills screen and low and behold, it too said I was level 53 and all my resources to buy skills had been increased across the board by 1000's% and all skills were unlocked.  

What appears to have happened is that my style of play led me to unlock a "Rare Achievement - 0.10%, All EXP and Levels are maxed, 90G."  Merry Xmas to me!!!!  Now this makes the 5th Achievement I have unlocked and of course it is the best one.      

Thus I have beat the game - at least the leveling up and unlocking of skills parts. I still have normal tac map with 2 more out of the 6 Itacua missions to do and side missions. So I will keep playing to see what new terrain and missions open up.

Nope. Check my unlocked Achievements. Its called "The Champion". Or view my player Info and you'll see I'm level 53.

Ya this game may not be the best but it has been a blast playing with everyone. Just funny moments and good laughs.

Congrats Cav, but Klown is right that this appears to be a glitch. When you hit the lvl cap, it unlocks The Champion achievement that you got. Hopefully you've unlocked all the skills and such, because the couple posts I read on this glitch said that after it happens that they weren't able to do any more leveling or unlocking skills.

After Klowns comments I went back to see all that had changed just in case it was a glitch and the powers that be had pushed me back. Turns out that I still have the Achievement in my Achievement list, I am still Lev 53, all my skills were unlocked (available) that I could see and all my resources got a HUGE boost so I can buy/upgrade the skills as I wish. The only things that hasn't changed is that I still have to work to unlock my weapons and I got no credit for any additional missions - the grind is still there. All this started when I was a Lev 6 and now I was jumped to 53. What is debatable is whether that Achievement was for those that had max'd there EXP and Levels or whether it is some rare super Achievement that rewards you by jumping you to those max levels. What I see is the later and I'm d$#n glad I got it.  

Finally got to play this game for a little while this weekend. I have to say...I love it. Does remind me of Far Cry....which was also a great game.
Having a little trouble positioning during battle. It seems to be hard to "Press" against a wall for cover and shoot around corners? Am I missing something? Any advise would be appreciated...

I had that issue in the demo Uncle Chucky, I wrote in my statement that the only problem I found was the cover system. I thought they would have corrected it. Maybe it's us old guys expecting something else after playing so many games with a great cover system.

Yeah you don't snap to cover like GoW and you can't enter cover like in the Division, rather it's more of a partial kind of GoW cover. You have to just move so it's between you and the enemy, which sucks because you can't really peek around corners and stuff to shoot. Something else to consider is the composition of the cover. Bullets have penetration and you can be shot thru cover (vehicle doors, corrugated walls, etc.) almost like you're standing out in the open.

If I remember correctly....The old Ghost Recon was the same.... Crazy good game though. Last mission I've been trying is stealing the Medical Truck....I get through that....get the truck and then when I show up to drop it off the drop zone is crawling with bad guys.....pretty crazy
