Atrum let's play co-op, we can be too busy together and get through about 5 minutes per week!

Perfect. I'm sure it'll end up being every other week though.

So far so good! I got to play for several hours last night and I am pleased to say that so far the game is excellent. Right from the get go it just felt right. Still fumbling around with what I want to run with but I love every second.

Not far off lol. I played for 6 hours yesterday (the video is up on my Twitch channel for anyone who wants to see it). For the first hour and a half I was determined to beat an enemy I was not supposed to beat early on. Right out of the initial spawn with just starting equipment I went to work. I did eventually beat it and move on but I spent a good deal of the night doing equally stupid stuff.

Re: Dark Souls 3
(No Spoilers) Day 2: I started out by finishing exploring the first area and feel I found most of the goodies and NPC's. I cleared the boss (several times by helping others) and headed to the next area. Here I started to explore and found the next boss fight but I'm gonna hold off for a bit till I explore this area further. I hope to finish out this area tonight and then take down the boss. Day 2 was much more eventful as I wasted a lot less time messing around.

Day 1 - Scrolled through the xbox menus and saw Dark Souls 3. Did not purchase, but considered it.
Already this game is difficult.

I made it to the second boss last night but only made one attempt. This game is so much more different then Bloodborne. I keep playing way to aggressive and getting my ass kicked by these kite shield wielding Knights.

Those guys are just a pain in the ass in general. I hate the spear variation most of all. As for bosses, don't forget you can just run straight to the boss. Don't fight those guys, just run right pass them and into the fog wall. It saves you time and Estus flasks (and a little bit of sanity lol).
In fact this is true from the whole game pretty much. You can run past most of it. Enemies will usually only follow for a set distance and then de-aggro.

Yea that's how I found the boss lol. I'm just not used to how much slower this is compared to Bloodborne

Re: Dark Souls 3
Yeah it can be for sure. A STR build with a shield makes the game much easier but also slows it down a good bit. I use a lightweight DEX build and I tend to move pretty quickly. I don't use a shield or parry. Dodge, attack, roll repeat. The occasional stagger-visceral and I love back-stabs. My gameplay is quick and fluid but it make the game much harder at times. Basically I play just like I did with BB.

Re: Dark Souls 3
This may be one of the greatest things I have seen in DS PvP. Using a special item (that allows more summoning then normal) and special suit of armor that damages an enemy if you roll into them (Armor of Thorns), this group of bros literally steamroll the competition.

That was pretty sweet. Who needs weapons when you're entire body is a weapon?

Re: Dark Souls 3
Finished up my first run last night clocking in around 58 hrs. Amazing game and a great send off for the series. It was as hard as any Souls game although a few of the bosses were not too hard tbh (and some of them were crazy hard too lol).
My first run is always a blind run and solo. I screwed up most of the side quests, which is easy to do on a blind run, but I found most of the major item at least. I only missed 2 optional bosses that were in a hidden area. I am headed there now to finish up and then it's on to NG(+) which I will run largely co-op. The plan is to find the stuff I missed the first time, PvP and just generally screwing around.
