Warpriest Challenge Mode is Up!

Challenge:

    Challenge is to kill the Warpriest with different aura holders.  If someone gets the aura more than once you need to restart.


Modifiers:

   Warpriest Fires faster.

   High tier ads such as wizards and adepts spawn more quickly and more often.

   Hallowed Knights spawn quicker.

Rewards:

   Calcified fragment!

   New emblem!

   310/320 Artifact (NM/HM)

   Guaranteed 310/320 weapon

   Chance for exotic!?

So basically, just like most people do it anyway.  Just be sure no one get the Aura twice and you get guaranteed max level drops.  Pretty sweet deal.

It doesn't seem to be a timed event and we don't have to do anything different from what we normally do so... yes. Details are a little sparse as far as launching the "challenge mode" so I need to look into it but it seems you just do the Raid. If you meet the challenge, you get loot. Nothing special to do really.

A little more light has been shed...

Challenges are weekly in nature. Each week a boss and a challenge are chosen. This week is WP with different Aura holders. Next week is rumored to be Golgo etc... No idea if they will repeat or there are different challenges for each boss yet. Time will tell I suppose.

At any rate, I suggest hitting up the challenge this week. It's too easy to pass up.

Yeah, a guaranteed 320 weap and artifact from HM would be epic. I'd only need a 310 artifact for my Warlock, so I probably wouldn't be up for NM unless it was with my Warlock (she still has a 200 artifact).

Yeah, I'd really like to run HM for the challenge if nothing else. Just not sure when I could do it. My weekend is pretty full till Sunday evening. Might try and run it late tonight maybe? IDK

If I can't hit tonight I'll probably find a 100 group this weekend. The artifact will help no matter what but I'd need the weap to be primary or secondary to really help (already have a 313 LMG). Either way, I'd probably move the needle to 310 on my Titan.

So I ended up running this twice last night with two separate groups and it was super smooth both runs. If you are familiar with this fight I highly recommend running it. We had no troubles at all and completed both run quickly on HM. Sweet loot for little to no time required. Get this done before the reset.

Tried with a 100 group and we got close but couldn't finish it off. I'll probably try to find another group for Saturday night to see if I can knock this out. I'd really like to be able to make a run with my Warlock, it would be a 110 point jump on her artifact and like 8-9 total light increase.

Ran it again tonight with the group I ran with Friday night and we ended up knocking it out 3 times on HM. Only got gear twice because I ran my Titan twice since my Warlock wouldn't have been useful. Ended up getting my Titan to 312 and my Hunter to like 307/308. Still need to decode some engrams so I might be better off once that's done.
