Req packs

What do you aim for when purchasing these packs?

I've been buying gold packs with my credits and the only thing I've really got out of it so far is a bunch of fuel rod cannons.  I thought I'd try going for a bunch of bronze packs instead of buying a gold pack and got some neat stuff out of it like assault and battle rifles with sight and silencer add-on and certification for railguns, so maybe I'll get something other than needlers from rank up/commendation packs.  

I always wondered why I kept getting needler and mongoose cards from bonus packs, and that's because those were the only cards I unlocked certification for (the blue ribbon on the card)

Edit: Had storm rifle and railgun certification unlocked before my next rank up pack. Rank up pack included storm rifle and railgun cards. Wish I would have done this sooner.

Had an Ultra Rare Vehicle Card that got me a Warthog with a Gauss Cannon. Unfortunately couldn't get any of my teammates to operate the mounted weapon because they were storming the reactor.

But I particularly like the weapon mods.

I normally only use a Vehicle REQ if I'm needed to cause a distraction by poking at the enemy base while doing circles.

I only buy Gold and Silver packs. At this point I only care about my permanent unlocks. Armor, helmets, emblems, etc.

I tend to hold on to unusual weapons, and I like the random weapon cards.

Once I realized how the unlocking of weapons/vehicles actually worked, I really wanted to get the warthog, which is a common card. Just got that one, so I'll probably go for some silver packs next.

I do the silver packs. More perm unlocks for less than the gold.
